the fed are not a wrestling promotion. they’re a business that exists to be a leech to all that is good about wrestling, alive or not. nothing more than that. I won’t say any more than that, because tonight is about PAC, not about them, as much as they want us to believe it’s about them.

I laid out on the cool concrete in the shade this afternoon, ending up cloud watching without even meaning to. I saw lots of shape in the clouds, but of course the universe had its way, and showed me a cloud that looked like a freeze frame of the black arrow.

I’ve not seen anyone else post this on here yet (or I’ve missed it). had to redownload twitter just to get a screenshot. this destroyed me. I forgot how much of a dream match this was for me, and I’m sure, so many of you as well.

a post from katsuyori shibata from twitter/x. username @ K_Shibata2022

“the sudden news of his passing is an overwhelming shock.
we went together to buy groceries in the rental car he was driving, did laundry at the laundromat, and talked endlessly about pro wrestling in the car…
we used to tell each other, “someday, let’s have a match.”
it’s truly heartbreaking.

rest in peace, my friend.”

PAC was a phenomenal wrestler. The catalyst of NXT's Black & Gold Era, the King of the Cruiserweights, the Bastard, All Elite on Day One. The Man That Gravity Forgot. Every match, he wrestled at full speed. One of the most intense, one of the best. I will miss seeing PAC wrestle so much.

What a awesome & creative man this was. His body of work as a musician & pro wrestler is so cool! Purely such a talented person. But as you are all reading so many people who knew Andy they are telling you what a great person he was & such a gentle soul. That’s all very true. A great guy that worked hard, no shortcuts who wasn’t a fake or a bullshit artist…he was genuine, which is a very rare character trait in all forms of the entertainment business.
He was just a REAL DUDE.
I use to call him “Big Butch” every-time I saw him & he would giggle & smile!

RIP big man. 🙏

My heart is so heavy hearing about Andy this morning. It is made slightly lighter hearing all the stories and how much love there is for him in the world

One distinct memory I have is being in the locker room at an AEW show with him, I was talking about how my self image was very much tied to my wrestling career and how what was happening in wrestling would affect how I viewed myself personally

We had a lovely conversation about how important it is to have a life outside of our careers, spoke about how much he loved his fiancée, the importance of being a good person whatever that means to you and how he found self love

I aspire to be as cool as Andy Williams. May he live forever in our minds and hearts.

Rest in peace friend 💕
