The "Party of Reagan" has the United States siding with Russian aggression against NATO allies and a brutal war on a European democratic US partner. Yes, the whole party. If they didn't, they would impeach and remove the president who is blatantly breaking US law to help fund Russia's war effort.

This suits me. I wonder if regular season would go 4/15 to 9/15 like it did 75 years ago… probably not, but i’d be interested to know how this would fit on the calendar potentially.

White Sox lost this game by bringing their infield in in the sixth inning. It cost them two outs and five runs.

Next messaging memo point: "It's woke to be against this kind of cheating in sports because they just wanted to win, which is quintessentially American." (Kinda factually correct, actually, but still morally wrong and against the rules.)

Real sports fans were robbed of an amazing Game 7 when Haliburton suffered his Achilles. I think it would have been very memorable in the context of Game 7s. Instead, Pacers got killed. Shows how good Haliburton was that year.

Impeachment alone doesn't work politically. History has taught us that now, twice, with Clinton and Trump. Don't do it unless you have the 67 votes to convict and remove.

We are a good team 65% of the time. We need to fix penalties & special teams, & we had 5 easy games to do it. HUGE missed opportunity. It would defy the laws of the football universe for Nebraska to do that in the next 5 days & then have the improvement evident vs. No. 6 team in the country. Oof.

That's exactly what they think, & there ARE buyers who try to get a cheap ticket hanging outside the complex. It's just not the # of ppl where this strategy makes sense. There's not 1 person, much less 5 or 6, hanging out & looking to spend $1,000+ dollars to go in & hope Shelton makes this a match.

Chris Heine @chrisheine.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
It'd be interesting to talk to these sellers. What's their strategy? Is it that it's better to eat the TOTAL of their original ticket cost than breaking even/losing a little bit right now after they do the math including the tickets they made bank on? Sure seems that way.

With a potential 2-0 set lead for Zverev looming, US Open Men's Finals prices for upper bowl now as "low" as $370. Lower-bowl seats have "dropped" to around $1,700. There's a lot of tennis left, but you have to wonder who would pay those prices when it looks the match MIGHT BE half over with.

Chris Heine @chrisheine.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Crazy to see how US Open online ticket scalpers just hold onto seats w/o lowering prices much in the mins leading into matches or even after they begin. Rn, the 1st set of the Men's Finals is in the books (Zverev 6-3 over Shelton), & lower seats are still going for thousand$ & nosebleeds at $600+.

One of the most underrated players in NBA history. Was the MVP on a championship 1979 Seattle Supersonics team and then won two more point-guarding the Celtics. I hated those Boston teams with ever ounce of sports fandom possible in the 1980s, but this dude was a dude.
