Reflektor was a step down. The cliff was after that. And it was a hell of a cliff.

A literal work in progress! And every iteration was worse than the one before. So annoying.

Break up albums weren’t as big of a deal back then I guess 😆. I think nowadays it’s pretty well regarded but is sadly a relic of the past. I can only dream of a reunion or possibly just Jeff working in some of these songs somehow (he’s been playing Future 86 again quite a lot so you never know!).

I don’t think this is a hot take at all! I wish this was canon Jeff/Death Rosenstock - the songs would definitely fit into the current catalog - but alas.

Congrats to Foxing on a great run. A transcendental live experience. Five great records. We decided to cover all of them on the show to end the year. The first three are all live now. Please look at Charlie’s great parody art feat. Our pets (RIP Kodi). linktr.ee/1010youregreat

The part I’m having a hard time with is that the defense is way more injured than the offense and they somehow found a way to shut the Falcons out in the second half. Meanwhile, the offense with the full OL, Josh and Cook couldn’t get us where we needed to go. Something doesn’t add up there.

This week! A good album discussion because we picked one of the most acclaimed albums ever: Burial - Untrue. It's the first installment in this year's spooky szn. Also another lengthy ode to Jeff Rosenstock as we all saw the big show (and I met him!). Plus I went to 4 shows in 4 days in 3 states.
