Very cool day at PictCon yesterday, nice chill convention, some braw panels & discussions about SFF & community in Scotland, went to a good workshop on writing fight scenes, beers & chat with writing pals then a wonderful Japanese dinner. Also got some atmospheric photos on the journey. Magic.

Age yourself with your first computer Something like this Commodore 64, but it was a sort of home-made one my mum bought from a pal rather than an out-the-box one. I had Frogger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jet Set Willy and a bunch of other stuff on cassette. Got an Atari ST a few years later.

My wife and I had gone on a cleaning rampage through the day, then she and our kids put up our tree and decorations in the evening before getting in some Indian takeout and watching cartoons.
