And was told off for being late. Another passenger and I evacuated the bus, because the driver refused to believe there was a problem. 30 seconds before this, passengers were grouped around the back of the bus while he looked at the engine, insisting it was fine.

Leviticus is really fucking good. Queer horror, basically about Christian conversion therapy, which makes you care enough about the characters to care more about the horror. Very It Follows, but more intimate.

Well, that was a hell of a night. Got to finally see a proper Kenny Omega main event, topping off a great show overall. The New Day/Level debuting was a highlight, as was the Young Bucks/Cope and Christian match.

Got this ad on Facebook earlier. And two things about it. 1 - Meta seems fine with porn (from a JOI page) as long as it's AI. Which is weird but tracks. 2 - AI is so weird, it's added some strange... growths along her neck and collarbone? Like massive welts. This all seems very meta.
The text says "Tired of the 'hub'?, with 'hub' in the pornhub logo. It then has a an AI generated woman looking sy the camera, covered in liquid. Presumably cum, but some of it turns into large red welts down her neck and collarbone. And I don't mean small scars or kinky-times welts - think more 80s body horror.

Thoughts are with Kemi Badenoch at this difficult time.
Kemi Badenoch tweets:
Just heartbreaking to hear the news about Rod Liddle.
I don’t have the words to express how sad this is. For journalism, for his readers and most of all his friends and family. Had missed his column and hearing his voice on the radio. Thought he was on a break.
Rest in peace, Rod. You will be very much missed.

Oh man, Rod Liddle has passed. I think it's best to remember him using his own words and sentiments, like "...the one thing stopping me from being a teacher was that I could not remotely conceive of not trying to shag the kids."
Text reads:

Rod Liddle
A teenage girl, a maths teacher and a righteous tabloid fury
From magazine issue:
29 Sep 2012

I seriously contemplated being a teacher once upon a time, when I was lot younger. It seemed to me an agreeable doss, and one didn’t have to be too bright or too ambitious, or possess any great quantity of knowledge. I sometimes wondered what sort of teacher I’d prefer to be; one of those ingratiating young men who plays meaningful pop songs on his guitar to the class and affects an air of faux rebelliousness, the kind of teacher whom as schoolchildren we all despised, or the other kind — sarcastic, stentorian and occasionally brutal, the kind we all feared. It was one or the other; there is no middle way.

I never found out because the one thing stopping me from being a teacher was that I could not remotely conceive of not trying to shag the kids. It seemed to me virtually impossible not to, and I was convinced that I’d be right in there, on day one. We’re talking secondary school level here, by the way — and even then I don’t think I’d have dabbled much below year ten, as it is now called. I just thought we ought to clear that up early on. At my old comprehensive school a few teachers were known to be schtupping the pupils; one of them, a female teacher who was extremely foxy in a Pot Noodle scuzzy kind of way — she copped off with some fifth-form lad, and another teacher (a man with a guitar and a faux rebellious attitude) gained the affections of an extremely attractive fourth-form girl. As pupils, we didn’t remotely mind about this and both teachers were very popular. But I knew, when I was considering my career options, that this sort of behaviour was definitely frowned upon by the authorities and that I would not last the week in my new job. Frowned upon, although not much more, I ought to say — certainly not the deranged howling that is kicked up these days, the fury and the righteous anger."

This type of messaging just gets my back up. Sainsbury's using facial recognition is one thing - making the starting point 'Your safety is our priority' is obviously bullshit. It's clearly about shoplifting and 'your safety' is a huge stretch.

But mainly, what's smart about Moriarty The Patriot is how well it works with the original Holmes premise and stories - enriching some of them, and giving them a wider point. The enemy in this series is privilege, and that gives it a lot of energy - and allows for some really smart interweaving.

I know 'X is fucked up' isn't news, but this shocked me when it turned up in my feed multiple times when I glanced in. AI-generated ads with links to scam websites... showing Nigel Farage pulling a gun on Question Time to crusade against 'the financial elite'.
Supposedly from 'Ephraim Muchanya' @emuchanya', a post with Nigel Farage hurling a glass of water over (I think) Andrew Bailey, head of the Bank of England and being held back by security. The text all over saying 'Millions fooled: Farage Exposes Bank of England's Hidden Agenda LIVE', and the busy image showing 'Live Now', 'The broadcast that shook Britain - an unbelievable scandal in the studio', with 'Breaking News, Live Studio Clash: Water thrown as tensions explode on air', 'Host and guest erupt in shocking confrontation', 'Glass of water thrown live on set', 'Security rushes in as argument escalates', 'Viewers demand answers' and 'Click to see why - what sparked the explosive on-air showdown'From a clearly hacked account and linking to a scam site, a tweet featuring Nigel Farage pulling a gun on Question Time, threatening someone I think is meant to be Andrew Bailey (head of the Bank of England), while being held back by a very American security. The caption reads 'Britain in shock: What happened live on air?' and has the CTA: 'Read before it's deleted'
