chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 05/02/2025Unfortunately there are so many good ones out there that even the highly gameable ones get relegated to the shelf. The Monty Python game may make for a nice coffee table book at least. 010

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 05/02/2025I've been exploring solo rpgs and this one seems really cool. Great presentation and so much content in these 26 pages. 000
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 18/01/2025Big day for rpg deliveries for me! These were all ordered at various times ranging from days to years ago, and they all converged today. If only there were more time in the day. 130

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 07/01/2025A woman finds a weird thing in the woods and becomes obsessed with excavating it. It pollutes the atmosphere and makes everyone around weird. They almost do what the weird thing is making them do but one guy is like nah and flies the weird thing into outerspace. Everyone dies. 000
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 07/01/2025@temstarlite.bsky.social a clockwork orange was so good. The nadsat glossary at the end of the book was such a great touch. 110
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 07/01/2025@coral-wave.bsky.social the only pantheon that has interested me in game was the forgotten realms one. When I think of dieties in gaming or any fantasy context I think of Lolth, Mielikki, and Moradin first and foremost. I only use them in Faerun though. 010
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 07/01/2025@jordane1964.bsky.social I have recently figured out how to view notifications and found I have missed several messages such as this one! I think in person is the way if you have the right people around. I've had a great time playing online too and I think its easier to pull off. 000

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 07/01/2025I have made it a couple of sessions into Ironsworn Starforged beyond the session zero setup. I'm still figuring the pacing out to find how I enjoy playing but so far it's been really fun. I'm going slowly but a pretty dynamic story is emerging almost immediately and I highly recommend Starforged. 040

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 06/01/2025@t5un4m1.bsky.social wasted too many characters on the silly joke. Luka for his art style. I love that neo-moebius art. And Shawn for the great work he's putting out in the solo rpg space. I'm new to it but he's keeping me involved. 000
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 06/01/2025@t5un4m1.bsky.social I'm assuming you're talking about rpg designers and not fashion designers, which I discuss on my other bluesky account obviously. 1. Zak S has been putting out great stuff consistently and is who sparked my interest in alternative RPGs (non WoTC) 2. Luka Rejec 3. Shawn Tompkin 010
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 06/01/2025@billward-bill.bsky.social I've really been enjoying it. The story telling and world building mechanisms are pretty intuitive and I'm digging the random tables and physical assets. It's very aesthetically pleasing for someone who loves books and games. 000

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 23/12/2024@sword-devil.bsky.social yeah! King City is great. I think my favorite of his work was his Prophet run. Such good scifi. Multiple Warheads of course is also really good. Brandon Graham is one of my favorites. Are you into any other comic artists/writers that you would recommend?? 020
chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 23/12/2024@gnosticgoblin.bsky.social That just sounds like a lot of work. You get way more social credit from joining the mob. Satire of course... 100

chrisb321.bsky.social @chrisb321.bsky.social · 23/12/2024@sector14.bsky.social yeah! If I had to pick a favorite author it would be Stephen King (luckily I don't). Salems Lot was great, I like that it didn't end with a clean happily ever after finish. I haven't seen the new adaptation yet but I generally avoid the IPs I like because I'm often disappointed 000
