I've let a lot of communication lapse over the last few years, in no small part due to sheer embarrassment, but I do still treasure that time and those relationships. 130

Things I wish I could have done, things I certainly wish I had done differently. But I think at the core of it all I was just fundamentally unhappy turning a hobby I enjoyed into a career. 120

The pay is way worse, but it's steady work and I don't bring anything home with me. I don't stress about my performance on the job. It's probably the most at peace I've been with employment ever? 220

Had one freelance thing come my way, but the work was only a handful of hours a week so I finally accepted that I just didn't want to hustle to stay in animation. I wound up just switching careers. 100

Again, I know I'm extremely lucky in this regard, but I never really had to hunt for my next gig. It always just kinda landed in my lap. 100

I remember a friend relating to me once that the average career in TV animation is about 7 so I guess I made out pretty alright. 110

Felt like it undercut it itself a few times with the humor. Ironically I think the back half of Barbarian felt more spiritually Resident Evil than this movie. 100
