My new job has me waking up at like 6am lately and my whole world feels right side up. I'm seeing a movie at 9am tomorrow and that feels late. I'm still gonna have a whole ass day after it ends.

Been working pretty nonstop so I think I'm gonna reward myself with a dadcore viewing of the Odyssey on my day off next week

I think it was The Matrix, which upon viewing the R rating surprised me because I had seen several PG-13 films that felt more intense to me.

Man, this one really hurts. Truly an underappreciated legend.

In the wake of the news about Arkane's uncertain fate I decided to give Prey another shot after bouncing off it 3 times and I think it's *finally* clicking with me.

I do still think it's deeply weird that Sony bought Alamo Drafthouse and charged actual money for people to come watch PlayStation ads in theaters today

it's been 7 years since Sekiro's release and while I only played the game for the first time a not so long ago, using this anniversary as an excuse to finish a piece of my favorite moment in the game ߹𖥦߹

colored sketch of the towering Tengu, hand at the ready on his katana, stands before a rough shinobi in his old tattered rob from childhood, and commands, "Tell me your name!"
The shinobi is silent.
The tengu continues: "No name to give? You shinobi are all the same. You die nameless, with no one to mourn you. However...Your left arm. A prosthetic shinobi arm, it reminds me of... That's it... a one-armed Wolf. I like it! Which means...Sekiro. This is what I shall name you.

i'm going to be honest to capcom. i know its 1998 so theres still time to change this. i dont care about hunk. not a real character. not a guy. i will never cheer when you put hunk in, that is not a real cameo. its like naming a stormtrooper Billy and going "thats billy!" every star wars movie

sherry birkin should clearly be the protagonist of modern resident evil

I'm not normally one who dislikes Resident Evil third acts, but I gotta be honest I'm not sure 9 is doing it for me.

I say this as someone who adores RE8, but I feel like Requiem perfects the structure and balance of genre that Village was going for.

This week's movie night pick was Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a movie I thought I'd seen but upon watching realized I've only seen bits and convinced myself I'd watched all the way through

The funniest thing about RE4R is them doing a Surf Dracula with Leon's original knife

Following this up by once again complaining that the villains in RE4R are completely sauceless in comparison to their original takes

It's still very funny to me that Armored Core 6 has bonewheel skeletons but Elden Ring does not

Resident Evil 4 (2023) rules so hard except for the fact that it pales in comparison to Resident Evil 4 (2005)

I remember looking at RE2 concept art as a little kid and being blown away by it, especially the bottom left Ada sketch. Wanted to do my own version of it this afternoon.

THANK YOU!! People constantly overlook this, whereas whenever I'm using these other programs there's a huge symbol-shaped hole right in the middle. LET ME CREATE PROGRAMMBABLE INSTANCES OF DRAWINGS THAT EXIST IN A LIBRARY AND ARE EASY TO MANIPULATE AND PLACE!
