Posting this for you to enjoy if you missed it, while I'm about to be off the grid for a week! It's very rare that I revisit a cartoon I grew up with at all, so watching this really takes me back; tbh I should grab a Capri Sun or a Hi-C juice box next time...

We need those data centers to blow up like the mako reactors in ff7 soon. That POS Tim Sweeney needs to pay for his crimes

It's absolutely lovely! Tbh if COTW was gonna bring back her classic fit, I wish it was like this. My favorite part of the design you added is her new high heels. Mai looks even sexier wearing these than normal socks tbh. I wish she wore heels more often so I am glad her biker outfit has it.

"KYS" is too simple. Cliché, even. "I hope one of your most beloved game series gets rebooted with genAI assets" is way more threatening. It's realistic. It happened to me

You both definitely make totally valid points. Sorry if I came off mean earlier. Maybe I was a bit rash sayong "100%". I just feel like it would be fun to see the entire world feel complete and the potential fun interactions that could happen for the characters

Dude have you been living under a rock? This aint the Wii U era anymore. We JUST got a new Star Fox reboot, a new Metroid game, and a new Xenoblade game. Nintendo has been paying attention to alot of other non-Mario/Zelda/Pokemon IPs

This Elly art is amazing!!! You draw her so lovely as a XC2 Blade from her figure to her outfit. 🙏🏾🥰❤️ You honestly capture her in the modern Xeno art style super well! Would be cool to see her and Fei as blades or Heroes in XC3 somehow if only Square wasn’t cowards

Monthly sketch (lmao) for Anon! They asked for a #Xenoblade2 Blade Elly, and well, one cool/fun idea led to another...and then I started really liking how it was turning out....and then I didn't sleep... So I have a problem 😂 #Xenogears

Honestly I really do recommend you give the 2nd FEW and TOTK warriors a chance. Heard they are some of the absolute best in the Warriors genre

Tazo Gumball Chowder @chowdergumball.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Most notably stuff like the love triangle nonsense for example and how the remake is making an effort to squash that and make it clear cloud only loves Tifa and vice versa. Remake trilogy I do feel helped flesh out alot of the characters

000

Tazo Gumball Chowder @chowdergumball.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

To be fair regarding FF7, they aren’t rewriting canon for the remake so much as fixing what the true canon is what should be that wasn’t made clear in the original trilogy due to limitations in technology or stifled creativity that hindered Nomura at the time hence why he want to remake the trilogy

Really nice picks. I can make out all of these titles even in Japanese except the last two tho. Curious tho why they are all in JP if you dont mind me asking Not sure which Kirby game is the one on the bottom left. Is it the first one? Also the bottom right looks like Psycho Soldier. Is that it?

Honestly I would like their universes to intersect to open so many more story possibilities I think it would be fun especially since XS is already included

100

Tazo Gumball Chowder @chowdergumball.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Why the heck would you not want that? That’s literally a 100% good thing for XB and XG to intersect. It opens so many more possibilities and it’s possibly what Takahashi always wanted for the series anyway. He’s already doing it with XS so XG wouldn’t be a big deal to add tbh
