A solid—tangible—way to celebrate #IndigenousPeoplesDay is by supporting Native authors/artists. Like say, maybe, picking up this anthology (now in paperback!) that I have a short story in! amzn.to/4AUu3yK

Social media has ruined Biddy Blas for me.

The third one is pretty decent. I’d consider it an underrated horror film and think it’s worth a watch.

I’d go back to this style of 5POA all day long over paying $80 for three 3.75” figures. I didn’t have a problem with them then, and I definitely don’t now.

I don’t care that it’s Homecoming week here: if I see stupid teens doing stupid shit, this old man is going to call the cops.

Bust up big corporations and tackle Wall Street’s greed. Get big money out of politics. Strengthen unions and boost wages. Pass Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare, and so much more... This is the agenda Democrats need to fight for. It's not enough to simply be anti-Trump.

I loved Lanterns and am eager to see more of the cast… but the finale more or less played out as I’ve been expecting the last couple of weeks so it didn’t land as hard for me as it seems to have for everybody else.

For me, it all depends on if it makes the galaxy feel smaller. Evazan and Ponda Baba on Jedha make things feel smaller to me, as they don’t meaningfully add to the story or make much sense being there. The others don’t bother me at all.

Krennic being in Andor does feel more like adding Ahsoka to Mando, though neither really bother me.

Jesse @chopontop.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Then the language should clarify that. Even still, I think apart from Krennic, that doesn’t really apply to the characters selected here as the ISB is a huge part of the story, so Yularen isn’t a random addition, and since we are literally seeing the birth of the Rebellion, the others fit too.

Hasbro’s out of touch. The last few years of Star Wars merch has proven that.

Yeah…that really rubbed me the wrong way.

That Star Wars Hasbro Pulse livestream could have been about an hour and ten minutes shorter.

Rewatched Star Wars: Skeleton Crew over the last couple of days. Man, that’s a damn good show.

I loved their “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” but as a Star Trek fan, every time John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein talk about their new Trek film, I “Nope” out harder and harder. trekmovie.com/2026/09/30/n...

Today's Star Wars thought: Kinberg's series could focus on Force users who the galaxy is side-eyeing after decades of wars instigated by powerful Force users. The masses may not see a difference between the Light and the Dark. It's all dangerous. Rey's new order will have lots of problems.

(I also think that’s exactly why Devon was introduced)

I’d be shocked if Filoni isn’t adapting Lucas’ ST, NJO, and maybe even Hunt for Ben Solo into this new trilogy. I think one of the reasons Kinberg might have been brought back was because he worked on George’s ST before Arndt was brought in and is very familiar with it.

Listen up fellow dads, the absolute LEAST thing you can do right now in light of the Cornell stuff is have a frank talk with your sons. Make it clear what’s expected of them and how they can be safe people for women. Dont shy away from the hard topic. It’s essential

For me, it just didn’t carry the same urgency as other new Star Wars because we’ve got so much Mando already. I’d probably still be putting it off if the Watts news hadn’t put me in a Star Wars mood, and it’s the Star Wars I’ve seen the least.

Just watched The Mandalorian & Grogu for the first time since seeing it opening day in theaters. I’ve had it digitally and physically since both of those release dates. It’s never taken me this long to watch a Star Wars home video release before. 😳

It’s so bizarre to me how much Reddit is shitting on Jon Watts. The Spider-Man Home trilogy and Skeleton Crew weren’t good? Go back under your bridges, trolls.

When I saw Solo for the first time, it made me feel like I did watching Star Wars as a kid. People who make those arguments don’t know what they’re talking about.

Jesse @chopontop.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I like the Watts pick because I think big franchises should be going with solid journeymen filmmakers to enact the studio’s game plan instead of trying to do their own thing. Where I think they need to be more daring is in their stories/scripts, and Kinberg doesn’t inspire much confidence for me.

Jesse @chopontop.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
