No name yet, but here's an exorcist design I've been poking at for a little while, complete with what is almost certainly a sarcastic talking skull. Everyone needs one of those. #OC #art #fantasyart

Drawing of a woman with a white streak in her hair, and a brown coat over top of a long button-up skirt and ruffled shirt. She has a grimoire under one arm while holding a glowing skull in her opposite hand, to which she is paying mild attention. There's a skull-patterned brooch dangling from her necklace.

Something spooky for the season. I'd have finished this earlier, but unfortunately I've been wrestling with a dead/dying hard drive as a (not so) fun welcome to the month! I guess the real horror was technology all along... #OC #art

Imagine of a teal-skinned zombie woman with glowing eyes and a black dress with a veil, in the style of a wedding dress or a funerary gown. She has her hair styled in a white hime-cut beneath the veil.

Set out to do a quick doodle, ended up a bit more involved than I intended. Anyway, Kylah's bow skills aren't exactly traditional! #OC #art #fantasyart #KylahOC

Drawing of Kylah, having just released the string on her bow. Ribbons of light swirl around and form into a big, split-shot arrow of glowing energy. She's in mid-movement, leaning as she takes the shot.

Just felt like drawing a map. It's pretty quick, and has no labels or scale since it's not actually FOR anything, but I wanted to draw some shapes. #art #fantasymaps

A drawing of a fantasy map, at the region scale. Land moves in from the west and stretches east, with ocean on the northern, eastern, and southern borders. There's a lot of mountains all over, and a little bit of dense forest near the bottom.

Redraw of something in one of my older sketchbooks. #art #fantasyart

A blobby, knight-like figure with a kind of amoebic ooze where their central body mass should be, claw-gripper hands. They're standing next to a similarly-amoebic bit of flora that resembles an ooze-topped mushroom in shape, with a few other rounded blobs floating around it.

Not all parts of the graveyard are as organised as others... #Art #OC #NadiaWebbOC

Drawing of the vaguely gothic grave-keeper, Nadia Webb, walking along a misty wooded trail lined with headstones in her black dress with web motifs. She holds a flashlight ahead of her in her left hand, and its beam shines white across the image. The only colour is in the blue of her eyes and the stone at her neck. Everything else is black and white.

A couple villain designs: Waythorn and Bellringer. Always good to have a clawsome plant and a dumb brick. #art #oc

Image of a plant-themed villainess named Waythorn standing beside a much taller, more muscular villain named Bellringer. Waythorn has a hood and a flower-like popped collar, a sharp-toothed grin, and leafy hair. Beside her, Bellringer has a traditional spandex outfit with an iron helmet and gauntlets to match, as well as the emblem of a bell on his chest.

Waythorn stands confidently, reaching out toward Bellringer's sandwich with her claws as he looks surprised about it, trying to keep his food away from her.

Owner of a weird little magic shop that likes to hide from mundane notice. It's the shop that hides, to be clear, not the owner. #art #OC

Drawing of a smiling woman with fluffy brown hair and big round glasses. She's wearing a button-up vest and a skirt, with a bow at her neck, purplish leggings, and laced boots. She's got a rabbit-shaped hairpin and a magician's wand stuck through her hair.

Just some alternate designs for other clothes Nadia might wear, aside from her classic button-up outfit. Who knows why she dresses in such vintage styles. #art #NadiaWebbOC

Two images of Nadia. The first, on the left, depicts her with her fluffy white hair down over one shoulder, in old-style clothes with a shoulder-cape, high-waisted dress, and laced-up shoes. Her hands are held in front of her.

The second, on the right, has a thicker jacket and dress combination, with crinkly sleeves and a ruffled undershirt. In this, her hair is tied up into a large ponytail as it usually is. Both images depict the her hair over one eye, complete with the standard black streak, while the other icy blue eye is visible.

Just something rough after a tiring day today. #art

Drawing of a beach at sunset, clouds arcing upward around the setting sun. A sword is stuck into the hill in the foreground, ribbon trailing from the hilt. On the opposite side of the image is a cliff wall that trails out to sea, its face pocked with strange triangular holes.

Sometimes when you're small, what you need is a mech suit. #art

Image of a bubble-domed mechanical suit with vacuum-tube arms and legs, and little robotic pincers. It strides over a small rise, one foot up and one arm outstretched, with a glowing light in the palm of the risen hand. Green flame lights up the spot behind it. Inside the bubble-dome of the suit is a small reptilian alien gripping two joysticks.

Another little series of sketches of Jino and Kylah, this time diving through some ruins. #art #fantasyart #OC #KylahOC #JinoOC

Jino, a tired-looking man with stubble and shaggy hair, reaches forward to touch a stone wall with strange glyphs on it. There are vines on the wall, and a horned, bearded skeleton beside it.

Jino: "Ancient language, huh? Hate these old ruins. Well, no way to read your warning now, old man."

Kylah, a pointy-eared woman with hair over one eye and big upturned pigtails, slides in to the left, behind Jino. Jino glances her way, looking mildly surprised.

Kylah: "'Viraeth'. That's what it says."

Jino: "Oh, huh. You can read it? What does it mean?"

Kylah: "Well, "Vira" is the old word for "Fire". It's the same in my language."

Distant shot of the same pair from the previous two images, from behind. They stand beside the slumped skeleton, with Kylah staring at the wall while Jino looks over at her. At this distance, we can see that Jino is holding a spear, and has his shield resting at his feet. Kylah is holding her bow.

Kylah: "The ending is weird, though. "Eth". You usually only use that for *people*."

To the right, we can see a horned figure made of flame and wielding two swords made of the same, approaching down a darkened hallway.

No name yet, but here's a new one! Specialising in enchantment and ward-magic is sometimes more efficient than other kinds of spellcraft. Especially when it lets you deflect projectiles and punch people with raw arcane bursts! #fantasyart #art #OC

Picture of a woman with a patterned hood and tasseled red cloak. She's wearing armour with glowing blue trim lines, and her fists are covered with big iron gauntlet-covers. Plumes of magic waft around her head and one of her fists.

Did another redraw of an old childhood sketchbook creature. This one I remember being called a "Chzar", because that was the sort of "cool" name I gave things back then. I also remember one of my original protagonist characters fighting a variant that was permanently on fire! #art #fantasyart

Rough, childhood drawing of strange lizard-man with a big head, horns, and long claws. It's got a body with a long torso and stubby legs, and what seems to be lizardly muscle definition.

Modern redraw of the original image. Still a big-headed lizard-man with a head-and-nose horn and long claws, but now with far more detail, particularly in the scales and plates of the body. The proportions are a little more triangular than before, but still long-bodied with stubby legs.

Just sketching up another fantasy character. Honestly looks a bit like the same vibe as Jino, from my general fantasyverse, like maybe they could be from the same or similar place/unit. Bit more aggro, here, though... #art #fantasyart

Drawing of a grumpy-looking warrior in spikey armour and a hood, wielding two punchblades. They're kind of lanky overall, with a skull motif on the chest. I have yet to colour this one...

051

Chopboxer @chopboxer.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

Nothing new the last little bit, since I've gotten a little busier with my writing! It's difficult having multiple overlapping hobbies. Anyway, curious again what people might be interested in seeing more of in general. I have too many things to sort through sometimes.

Just a random draw I sort of did as I went. I have no idea what this is! #art #fantasyart

Picture of a "robed" individual with cloth wraps dangling in front of their shadowed face, one eye visible. Their robe starts to look more solid further down the design, sprouting a myriad of strange eyes. Possibly not a robe at all...

An older drawing of mine, since I have nothing new at the moment. Just a big lad in the sewers. #art #oc

Drawing of a large, purple-grey hulking humanoid with cybernetics and armour, stomping through a sewer tunnel. He's got a kind of breathing mask on his lower jaw, and glowing green eyes. A similarly-green core sits in the middle of his chest.

Another superhero concept, Becky Beyond! A bit of a goofy show-off, her powers got out of hand and replaced her body with weird DIMENSIONAL ENERGY! The belt keeps them under control, mostly. #oc #art

Superhero OC Becky Beyond, with eyes like stars and a body of amorphous dimensional energy. She's standing with her hands glowing blue and her thumbs raised toward herself, all confident-like. She's wearing a belt with a glowing light.

Some more Belle! Trying to knock out some colours. #art #oc #fantasyart

Drawing of Belle holding out her staff. Its bells are glowing, and a similar glow extends around a bunch of skeletal hands an a tombstone sprouting out of the soil beside her. She continues to wear a dead-eyed expression, as always. Her skin is slightly bluish, suggesting being at least a little undead herself.

Chopboxer @chopboxer.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Just a loose character design I'm still tooling with. A couple variants, since I'm still trying to decide on what "weapon" to give her. Supposed to be a necromancer/death priest type. #art #fantasyart #oc

Two side-by-side images of the same rough character design for Belle, differing only by the item she's wielding. She's wearing a skeleton-themed dress with a wide bell-shape to it, and has a single, wide-eye visible under her hair. In the left variant, she is wielding a scythe with a spine for a handle, and in the right-hand variant, she is wielding a similarly boney staff topped with three bells.

"Old Bermeria... Few can survive in those accursed badlands, let alone thrive in them. There are, of course, some rare but tenacious exceptions..." #OC #art #fantasyart

Drawing of a fuzzy-faced, fanged merchant in once-fine clothes, now slightly tattered. He's got a toothy grin beneath a half-bandaged face, and a feathered cap. He's holding one hand to his chest, and the other out in a respectful half-bow.

Raised in a secluded order of monster hunters, Seraph Julia is here to protect the weak and banish the evil that would do them harm! And maybe do a little friendly camping on the weekends. Got one serious business, and one with her more usual friendliness. #OC #art #SeraphJuliaOC

Drawing of Julia, standing under a glowing beam of light. She's got over-the-shoulder pigtails, and is wearing a breastplate and wielding a sword, gripping it in front of her. She has a serious expression half-hidden behind the sword. There's a glowing light in her eyes to match the glow of the light around her.

A second drawing of Julia, wearing the same outfit as the last. This one's got her stepping forward, a friendly smile on her face as she looks at the screen. You can also see the full length of her skirt and her boots.

I desire more games with good character creation... give me some of that real, deep, customisation. I want to be able to make them shorter or taller. I want to be able to decide what direction my character's hair flicks toward. Give me full access to the hues. That's the good stuff...

Sort of drew it as I went, but here's a concept for Kylah's home village, where the Lunari live. If this were a JRPG, you'd probably end up coming here early in the story to get help with something magical. #art #fantasymaps

An artistic map of a village called Loeyeni, stretched across a chasm in the high crags in the Loeya Valley. Its buildings have all those little wooden struts keeping them standing.

The village is near a bunch of falls which roll down from the Luna Springs higher up the mountain, which are themselves fed by a pool on the Moonstone Summit. On the summit, a short walk from the giant crystal that's set on top of the mountain, there is a much simpler shrine on an outcropping.

Maps are always fun to make. These days I only make fewer of them than I used to because I don't have as many things to make maps for, so I could probably find something. And yeah, I could definitely go into more about Kylah's people if I can think of things there, too. Thanks for the suggest!

Sketch of Kylah holding some street food. She looks chipper, and sparkles twinkle over her head as some dialogue text reads:

Sketch of Jino standing more straight and still than Kylah in the previous image. He stares ahead, spear resting against his shoulder. Dialogue reads:

"Oh, right, I guess you didn't have a lot of street food where you came from, huh. It's all right, I guess. I never really liked the sweet stuff."

Nadia doing a bit more focused exploration of the spooky house she's inherited. Still working on quoteposting older comics so I can start collecting the images properly from here on out! #art #OC #comic #NadiaWebbOC

Comic Title: A Place Beneath

Panel 1 shows Nadia stepping down into a basement, an old cassette tape recording device herd in her hand. Everything is dark except light through the door at her back.

Text: "The basement has... always frightened me. Before my father... disappeared, he used to tell me this place was... best kept away from."

Panel 2 shows a close-up of Nadia, visibly nervous, as she holds the device up to her face to record, glancing at the brick wall beside her.

Text: "I don't know where he's gone. I thought, maybe... I might find something. He knew so much more than he told me."

The final panel shows Nadia facing away from the screen, standing in the middle of a small basement room with her head tilted to one side. She shuffles nervously, but the only notable things visible in the dark are some mild debris, and a water closet.

Text: "But... all that's here is an ordinary cellar. Even so... it gives me such a strange feeling. Like the walls are breathing in the still silence. I wonder... did he feel it, too?"

Title Text: "Waythorn".

A drawing of a woman in a hood with a backing that resembles something between the petals of an open flower and the head of a cobra. Black and white comic tilted "Bad Sleep".

Panel 1 Text: "It can be a... terribly strange place to live, here in the graveyard. My schedule is, aha, rather nocturnal... But my bed is... soft, and nice."

Image of a gothy woman, Nadia, sitting up in her bed, lit only by a deck lamp. She is wearing black pajamas with ghosts on them, and pulling her blankets up nervously. A cat sits curled on the bed beside her.

Panel 2 Text: "Of all rooms, this one has always been... safe. Even so... sometimes I hardly get any sleep at all."

Dark image of a half-opened door into the hall. All that is visible is a set of pale fingers curled high up around the door frame, with no visible owner.
