Every so often I'll lose a hundred Safari tabs, presumably(?) by closing a window without realising ('reopen last session' is disabled). It leaves me in a confused emotional state. I know I've lost important tabs that I'll never find again. But I also feel lighter. Free. (this happened today)

I've been rather enjoying Indigo lately. I wasn't initially sold on the idea of merging Mastodon and Bluesky because I figured it would end up feeling messy, somehow. But I've come around to it, and bringing these two communities together feels to me a lot more like the Twitter of old.

Remind Me Faster 6.4 should be rolling out now. Fuzzy matching in natural language input. Lists and locations should match even with typos. Semantic duplicate detection can sometimes detect existing reminders that use different words but mean the same thing. apps.apple.com/gb/app/remind-...

Remind Me Faster 6.1 is available now. This is a quiet release. There are no new features. I’ve re-written the startup sequence (long overdue) which should reduce the occasional loading spinners. And there are various little areas of UI that have been polished. apps.apple.com/gb/app/remin...

Remind Me Faster is now available on macOS (Sequoia & Tahoe), with various layout optimisations for Mac and keyboard-first updates for key features. It’s a catalyst app, and a big step up from running the iOS version on Mac. I’m also aiming to make it feel more Mac-native over time.

This’ll be the first iOS redesign that Remind Me Faster has been around for. 1.0 was released in late 2015, well into the iOS 7 era. RMF has evolved significantly since, but this has been the culmination of many small steps, not linked to broader iOS visuals. Curious to see how this goes.

I have routine reminders I often set. They’re not repeat reminders, but I’ll often set a bunch in quick succession. The auto-complete in Remind Me Faster lets you add these really quickly, with no setup - it’ll search for reminders you create frequently and suggest them as you type.
