Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 1hIt is so hard to work when everyone is trying to bullshit each other. Sadly, that is the microcosm of seeing the line go up. What matters is the optics, the actual consequences are just a sub product. 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 1hThe obfuscation of information to help accommodate an underwhelming narrative is only useful for the narrator. It is so common to hear lots of BS at work, which only makes it hard to understand what's happening. But you want to look good in front of your boss! Yei! And now we have a BS generator.. 100
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 11hI watched this movie randomly while visiting one of my mom's aunts when I was a kid. I don't know what kind of cable she had, but I saw it and I still remember that day vividly and fondly. Many years later I re-watched it and realized what amazing soundtrack it has. It still holds! 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 09/10/2026It is not the first time they do this. The text is fluff, and the AI repeats the original points but with more words. It is so obvious that it is embarrassing. I'm starting to think they might even skip my original messages and make the AI read for them. 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I sent a message today to a coworker, one of my habitual walls of text with all my open questions on a project. All written by me. Writing helps me think. The fact that I can share it after is just a plus. As a response, they sent me back a comment 3 times as large, all obviously written by AI. 100

Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The iPhone works great, but the battery and memory are ridiculously small. The iPad touch is kind of unusable because the apps won't update to an older OS. The iPod classic, with his HDD still works as intended. The only concern is keeping the 30 pin cable (and I still need to test the battery life) 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 08/10/2026My wife was complaining that her iPhone has so little memory that she cannot download offline music for when we travel and there's no internet available. I went to look for my old iPods. The classic and the Touch, charge them, and I snapped this photo. 100

Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Leaving the engagement-bait argument aside, I'm so baffled by the concept of hate watching. Life is too short to spend time looking at shit you hate, unless you are getting paid for it. Also, it is not like there's not enough stuff out there to watch. 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Nuit blanche in Toronto feels less funded and more disappointing each year. Harbourfront was miserable, and I just learned via Reddit that there were "artists" using AI. Too lame to literally lose sleep over this. 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 03/10/2026With this record we now have all of Oceansize's studio albums. And it is extra sweet because this one was removed from streaming a while back. Favourite track: Oscar Acceptance Speech 001

Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I finished The Blood of Dawnwalker, and even if sometimes it feels like a spin-off from The Witcher, I really liked it. I would like some time to explore more of the world, but the sense of urgency adds a new flavour. I was able to unlock a few endings, but I'm curious about other decisions 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 03/10/2026What I dislike is not only the awful, irrelevant ideas they bring to the table, but also their insistence on maintaining a facade that they are doing something. They are clearly out of their depth on this... not to mention the actual day-to-day work. 000
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 03/10/2026The company is killing all their ideas to manage things differently inside our org. I’m afraid they understand the apathy of the folks before them. All the things they are proposing are, by their own admission, only performative, with no real value in the outside world. Poor younger folks... 100
Un Bouc Basque @chivo.bsky.social · 03/10/2026The story of my org leadership is so sad. One year ago, they fired most of them, removed some roles and brought younger folk into director roles. Younger people with less apathy, I assume. It has been a year, and they still haven’t proposed a formal career path. 100
