Trying to get some data on scooter usage. Been going like this for at least 15 minutes.
A screenshot of the open data portal with the message, "Running Query".

Here's a map of the number of rides per 1,000 residents. (Population data is from the last decennial census in 2020.)

A purple line, yellow line, and red line coming in to Howard Terminal. Note that the red line is heading into the southbound platform so riders transferring to the purple or yellow would need to go up the stairs and then down to transfer.
Looking down at the tracks there are 3 trains.

I did a little dive in the data on trips on divvy over the past few summers. Days hotter than 75F had increases ridership. Ridership didn't drop even at temperatures above 86F. Data is from Jun, Jul, and Aug of 2025 and 2026. Weather is from O'Hare.
A log-linear model showing the relationship between the weather as well as some control variables and the number of divvy rides. See replies for details.

Not by hour, but this graph shows the number of Divvy rides per day based on the low temperature for that day.
Low temp is charted on the X axis, and number of rides is charted on the Y Axis. The number of rides rises until about 65F.
