I counted at least 1,200 of these guys when I was doing a roadkill survey a billion years ago. Mostly answered to see if copy-paste works and allows alt-text, and lo and behold it does!

The wood frog (Lithobates sylvaticus), the only frog to live north of the Arctic Circle, and, in less cool news, a frog that I found thousands of while I was counting roadkill when I was an undergrad back when iron-framed buildings weren't a thing.
