Relatives say a new law could help them get answers after a legal challenge was blocked by a judge.

Vikki Slade, MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, has secured support from the incoming Prime Minister for a Dorset family seeking answers after a fatal helicopter crash. She raised the issue in Parliament, highlighting the need for truth and equal representation for bereaved families. The family of Major Anthony Hornby MBE, who died in the 1994 Chinook crash, are campaigning for a public inquiry. Andy Burnham commended Vikki Slade’s efforts and pledged to listen to the families involved.
