Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 25/08/2026It’s International Kerning Day! Spread the word! 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 20/08/2026Also, wow KDE has gotten gorgeous. I was a KDE user back in the days of 1.0 so there’s some nostalgia in my window manager choice. 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 20/08/2026I’m getting into Linux. Working with Debian made me curious so I converted a gaming PC to Bazzite. Which just made me want more so it became Mint Linux. Then last night I distro-hopped. Straight to Arch. Their installer is a shell and ‘Here’s the wiki, good luck!’ That was fun. #linuxnerd 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 13/08/2026I think the craziest part is that Claude did it all from the command line. Diagnosed Bluetooth issues, checked for channel congestion, pointed out an ancient firmware, fixed some codec fuckery, and more. AirPods went from sounding hella mid to actually REALLY GOOD. All from the command line. 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 13/08/2026Claude just fixed my Airpods, and now I'm stalled on app work and just listening to amazing albums like they're brand new again. I asked Claude on a lark 'Can you fix my Airpods, they keep skipping?' and.. yeah. Fixed the skipping, and fixed the wrong codec selected. 010
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 06/08/2026Unrelated to my music project but I'm listening to it while I do server ops so.. it counts? Shaboozeyl put out an album last week and it *slaps* just sayin'. #iosdev #indiedev #music 030
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 05/08/2026I’ve been working on something that’s approaching launch, and it’s changed my music listening habits a lot. I can’t wait to show it off! #iosdev #indiedev 050
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 13/06/2026Baguette: Grocery Tracker is my 2nd #iOSApp and it shipped today! Developing this app helped me rein in my grocery spending, showing how much I was spending on delivery fees. What we track we can change. Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 05/06/2026A few weeks ago I launched Philip: Fuel Ledger, and I’m still working on making him better! A fuel log that does the math - cost per mile, efficiency stats, a flag when things change. $4.99, once. No ads. No tracking, no ‘premium’. #iOS #smalldev #iosapp apps.apple.com/us/app/phili...apps.apple.comPhilip: Fuel Log App - App StoreDownload Philip: Fuel Log by Chillwolf Studio on the App Store. Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 26/05/2026We host a @gitea.com instance on our home's server and I could not help but have a little fun with the logo on our server. Now with goats, thanks to @growlph.greywolf.social 🐐#indiedev 020
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 23/05/2026Tonight's first spin while I work on some code. Phil Collins' Testify was a big part of my mid-20s. Before the iPod, I carried a copy of this around on a compact flash card on a Compaq iPAQ. 64kbps, super low quality. Streaming on a portable before streaming on portables was a normal part of life! 010
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 17/05/2026Which is something, given you know, Apple, and UI being their whole thing. But yeah, I think I've fixed the haunted problem. Script was a good idea, thanks! Now I can just versionbump --version 1.0.5 --build 12345 and I'm good to go. 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 17/05/2026I made Philip because I wanted to build something small, beautiful and useful. Philip tracks your vehicle’s fuel economy and your fuel spending, without ads, tracking or subscriptions. $4.99 once and he’s yours to use as long as you’d like. I hope you like him! #ios #app ⛽️ 🦊 apple.co/4nAgcatapple.coPhilip: Fuel Log App - App StoreDownload Philip: Fuel Log by Chillwolf Studio on the App Store. Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 17/05/2026Project settings and I think I finally tracked it to xcodegen generate stepping on it. Much less swearing at the versioning when I put it in project.yml and ignored the Xcode UI! Tempted to add versioning into a script like you suggest though. One less potential hiccup! 100
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 17/05/2026Anyone else struggling with version and build numbers in Xcode? Swear no matter how much I fight it I go through half a dozen 'version 1.0 build 1' builds before I finally find the magic combo that makes it pick up my proper version and build. #indiedev 170
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 16/05/2026At first I hated the new Spotify icon. And then I realized it’s the only icon on my entire Home Screen that has character, that isn’t just flat minimalism. And now I actually really like it. 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 15/05/2026Excellent shot. Working in Banff NP is a part of Alberta that I miss. 010
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 15/05/2026A solid evening of debugging! I started with 20 bugs on the list, fixed 8, and now I have 20 bugs on the list. #indiedevstatic.klipy.comScaler: Fixing a Bug Created a New OneAlt: Scaler: Fixing a Bug Created a New One 040
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 14/05/2026Nobody warned me that my first App Store approval would come in the middle of a regular old work day. Planning a delivery route, phone pings. ‘App has been approved!’ I look at it, to my boss. ‘Huh. My app’s being published. So, we need to go to Greg’s to drop parts today?’ #indiedev 040

Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 10/05/2026Got Kishi Bashi on the stereo tonight as I work through little things - website tweaks, git hosting changes, to-do list organization. Funny how 'I'll make an app to help me organize my life' has led to me having much more life *to* organize! 010
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 08/05/2026Got a utility app in TestFlight now. Quite pleased with it, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s starting to feel really clean. Philip’s getting closer to his debut. 🦊 000
Chillwolf Studio (Chris) @chillwolf.org · 08/05/2026Hi. I'm Chris. I struggle with task focus, so I'm building an app to help. Bask's helping me, and I hope someday he'll get to help a lot more people. Watch this space - I'm excited to be on this journey. #indiedev 060
