Beat RE: Revelations 2 again this morning. I remember hating it the first time around (like Rev1), but I think it grew on me a little bit. It's still like fourth or fifth from the bottom of all RE games so far, but I don't regret playing it this time (unlike Rev1, screw Rev1).

Here it is, the official (not really) rankings of how likely I am to watch a Resident Evil movie again. Out of 388 total movies watched this year, anything past rank 123 I probably won't watch again. (Reminder, it's not favorite or best. Vendetta is garbage, but it's fun garbage.)

Watched Plan 9 From Outer Space. Wasn't that terrible, mostly just standard Ed Wood BS. Wouldn't put it as one of the worst movies ever. Manos, on the other...hand...(damn it), was complete garbage and I put it at the bottom of the list (finally something dethroned Pod).

Since I didn't like the new RE movie and Welcome to Raccoon City was dog shit, you know what I would actually like to see? A Bravo Team movie. Have a little bit of Rebecca in there, but not a RE Zero movie. Maybe end with Enrico and Kenneth meeting up at the end and splitting up, go to credits.

Watched Welcome to Raccoon City with my wife. I think I might hate it more than Return to Silent Hill, mostly because I am a bigger RE fan than SH. It was mostly just painful, riding the middle ground between the games and the Milla movies. Definitely won't be watching again.

GameStop changed their plus program recently so you have to activate your monthly $5 coupon online before use instead of being able to be used in the store. Not going to lie, I've had games in my hand multiple times and just put them back instead of buying because I don't feel like dealing with it.

Little guide for Strim.fun users on how to add chat to on-sceen and as a docker. Text explanation can be found in the alt text, if you can't read the image text. If you have further questions, let me know.

How to add chat to OBS as a Source and Docker.
Login guide.
Add a new browser source.
Make it the main page of strim (strim.fun).
Right-click and click interact in the dropdown.
Log-in in the page.
Once logged in, you can remove the source.
Can alternatively done with a custom browser docker, explained later.

To add chat for onscreen,
add a new browser source, add the popout chat of your channel,
usually strim.fun/USER/popout/chat.
Pre-define the size for scaling. Recommended width 400, recommended height 600.
You can chroma or colour key to remove the background for transparency. The backgrounds hex code is #4663f3c
Reduce "Smoothness", "Similarities" and "key colour spill reduction" to the lowest value.

To add as a docker, click on "docks" in the OBS top bar,
"Add custom browser docks".
Enter your preferred Docker name, and as URL add the popout chat again.
You can attach that docker to your OBS however you like.

Watched a karate movie called Firecracker tonight. Was worried when Tubi only described the lead as a buxom blonde, turned out those worries were well-founded. She had a few okay action scenes, but a lot of it was just excuses for awkward shots and clothes ripping.

Not going to be a surprise, but I'm going with Eternal Darkness. I'm still convinced 90+% of its fans have never played the game but instead just read about it or watched video essays. It has neat ideas, but that does not convert into fun gameplay. If you like it, cool. I think it's too hyped.

Haven't watched American Ninja 5 yet, but went through 3&4 last night. The first four movies are almost exactly the same for main plot beats, but I actually enjoyed 1&2. Hoping 5 doesn't suck, but I won't be surprised if it does. Sad when you say to yourself "this needs more Dudikoff to be fun".

Had a dentist visit yesterday, and had a nightmare about it the night before. No body horror or anything like that, in the nightmare they used sleeping gas and as I was passing out they said "by the way, this procedure will now be $20,000". Started freaking the fuck out. Thanks, America.

Chill and I learned this and did a race in a single stream. Monster in My Pocket was a really fun run. He won with a 22:42 to my 25:45. I look forward to doing something like this again. Let me know if there are other games that are reasonable to quickly learn in a stream and goof around with 🙂
