Mid-Term Nightmare I could put down a Kalshi bet: a bunch of undocumented people will be approached by someone from the administration with the threat to go vote or else be deported. Think about it- whatever choice they make, it's a scandal. Even if you catch the blackmailers, headlines everywhere.

The CO scandal, I think, has real legs. Pretty clear Gov Polis was subjected to catastrophic pressures. No way to keep Peters in jail at that price. And just a slam-dunk for impeachment, all the elements of a high-crime. Bonus- it's not conservative to put the feds above the states!

For Drumpf's recent Korea announcement I can think of two possibilities. 1) He honestly believes nobody sees his "offer" to South Korea as flat-out blackmail. 2) He does, and has decided he doesn't want to be president anymore, but is too self-loving to resign, so he's goading us to fire him.

Drumpf's next move around illegal voting would need to be both heinous and moronic, and I think I've guessed it. Bribing a undocumented immigrants and helping them vote early. Probably in a red state (collusion with poll workers) and of course voting Democrat. Then they "catch" them...

I point out again, as earlier, that the 25th Amendment is clearly worded ("unable to discharge") to indicate that if the process is used, the president would have no part to play in it. That meeting could already have taken place, without his knowledge, and a date already set.

US World Cup: Listen, the ref kicked the call, OK? But there's no "instant replay" fix for that. FiFA has rules to rescind the suspension, and they used them. That's all fine. What if... we privatized Social Security, Medicare, Disability SNAP, etc. but then tied its output to a reduction in the estate tax and the tax on the highest bracket? So billionaires would need to take it over and make sure lots of people got benefits because then they would pay less in taxes.

I'm not proud, I asked Gemini. 2026 total # ICE and BP hired employees ~43-45k. 2020 total # polling stations just in the suburbs of our top 25 metro areas ~ 25-30k. Just suburbs. The math is easy. No way Drumpf controls the vote at 2 thugs per voting center. (The military ain't doin' it either.)

If Republicans pass and sign the so-called SAVE Act, count on two things: 1) Lawsuits from at least a dozen states, that should get TROs beyond the mid-terms. 2) Targeted ads from Drumps and MAGA, going ONLY to blue-leaning districts and ASSURING them they're fine on ID, no need to check.
