Black History Month in the UK is largely ignored by the games industry anyway but this has to be the quietest I’ve ever seen it. No panels, no events, nothing. Damn.

I just find it bizarre that the same people who have been RADIO SILENT during the genocide in Gaza, Sudan, Congo etc are the ones making posts about this awful man who was unfortunately unalived…🤔

Good morning ✨✨ [AD - campaign] Snag Tights asked me to be part of their product shoot for their Grunge Collection, which launched on the website today! The shots came out amazing, and I had such a great time. You can check out the collection and other photos at: ⚡ snagtights.com/collections/...

A screenshot of Snag's Grunge Collection header image on their website, featuring model Emily (blumen.hexe) on the left, and model Shaz on the right

Shaz Shanghari stood on distressed stone stairs, wearing a black wide-brimmed hat, the Snag Roast-coloured Organic Wrap Top, the Red Plaid Mini Pencil Skirt in Bonnie Red, black translucent tights, and black six inch platform heels with studded spike (Jeffrey Cambell Litas) They are looking away from the camera.

Anyone who worked at Guild that were complicit with all the bullshit that went down, not paying talent/suppliers… UNDERPAYING ME AND OVERWORKING ME, stealing ideas… everything… I pray you never find peace in this life and the next. Punks!

And to everyone who’s shown me support during this time, I thank you and appreciate you. It means a lot when people are there for you, especially when you’re dealing a death in the family and other things. Things really could’ve gone left and I thank God it didn’t. Love you all 🫶🏾

Aside from the sh*t Guild has put myself, staff and talents through for the Women in Gaming Campaign and more…I am very proud of the work I have done for the community. I wish I could’ve done more and trust me I wanted to and tried but that’s a different story for another time.

Yesterday was surprisingly really good. I met a lot of cool people in gaming and caught up with the girlies. It reminded me to take a break from working and just enjoy life. But more importantly to not to feel bad for wanting to do something for myself.

Hi Twitch Streamers! I KNOW that tags are a point of contention because they can sometimes lead to targeted harassment, but can we reconsider using them again, please? Especially black/minority streamers because trying to find ya'll outside of campaigns is HARD without them.

I am protecting my peace. If you don’t want to be friends with me anymore just leave… I’m tired of the constant back and fourth and me trying to keep a friend you CLEARLY don’t want. I’m over it and over ppl at this point… just leave me alone.

I've stopped correcting, calling it out, etc. Because the messenger is always the devil and the soul grows weary. Folks are going to do what they want at the end of the day, you've just got to choose what distance to keep them at.

Hi brands / PR: If the game you're canvassing for needs an AI Content Generation disclosure on its store page, please do not contact me for coverage, it won't be getting it. I don't care if the feature is optional. Every model has stolen from artists to exist. Shaz 💛
