Calling all artists, streamers, and citizens of the internet! #SavetheVaquita Week is Oct 11-17th, and you can help! With fewer than 20 left, these little porpoises are almost gone and hardly anyone knows about them. Let's change that by flooding the web with vaquita content! Share and read on! +

Save the Vaquita Week October 11-17th 2026
With fewer than 20 estimated remaining, the vaquita is the most endangered marine
mammal on the planet. Found only in Mexico's Gulf of California, this little porpoise
is a relative of whales & dolphins and is the smallest of the cetaceans.

Vaquita are accidentally caught in illegal gillnets set for the totoaba fish, and they
sadly drown as bycatch. Fishermen seek out the totoaba for it's swim bladder
which is valued at many thousands of dollars in illegal markets.

Without intervention, the vaquita will soon be gone.

But you can help!

For one week, the goal is to flood the internet
with vaquita content. Use #SaveTheVaquita to
share art, videos, streams, and more on any
platform. If we all do a little, it adds up to a lot!

You cannot support HP without supporting JKR. There is no line to be drawn. Simply showing support, even if you aren't buying anything, helps boost her social standings which gives her more power over others to do as she pleases. (aka commit trans genocide) I will block you if you support HP.

ALSO IT's OCTOBER SO PLEASE GET YOUR FLU AND COVID SHOTS SOONNN, I will have to kick my roommates ass to do this too. He's so stubborn about medical stuff and doctors, not maliciously, but he usually gets it done. I just have to punch him (lovingly) about it first.

i LOVE my babies so much have fwb camryn and orion,, i’m slowly developing their stories hehehehe #art #ocs #ocart

a stylised drawing of my ocs, camryn (left) and orion (right)

they have a bit of a situationship, and camryn caught feelings,, whereas orion didn’t

the drawing depicts orion standing, arms folded, ignoring camryn. while camryn is turned around to look at them in passing, slightly heartbroken

there’s lyrics written from a song;
“How can you look at me and pretend…
I’m someone you’ve never met”
