Today, and everyday, we reaffirm our support for transgender athletes and transgender members of our community. #TransPeopleBelong #TransPeopleBelongInSports #TransRightsAreHumanRights
Today, we reaffirm our support for transgender athletes and transgender members of our community.

Sports unite us and should always be a place of belonging. We reject efforts that invite greater scrutiny of athletes’ bodies, identities, and private medical information.
These measures will not only single out a vulnerable population; they risk creating an environment in which all athletes—especially women and girls—face invasive questioning, inspections, and undue burdens.

We stand with transgender athletes and everyone who believes sports are strongest when they are built on dignity and respect.

🚲 BIKE BUS 🚲 Join our Bike Bus to tomorrow's tailgate & match, led by Captain @marzeydoze.bsky.social 🤩
Cartoon graphic of a person riding a bike on the Chicago Lakefront trail with the skyline in the background. Text says "Local 134 Bike Bus for May 3, 2026"What is a Bike Bus?
A “bike bus” involves a captain riding along a route with other cyclists joining. The group cycles together to its destination.

By all riding together in a “bike bus”, the group is more visible and it’s simpler for the group to manage turns & intersections!

Approximate Departure Times for 5/3
9:30 - Depart Whiskey Girl Tavern
9:45 - Depart R Public House
9:50 - Rolling “stop” at South purple line station
10:00 - Arrive at Tailgate (NU Lakeside parking structure)
11:15 - L134 march to the stadium

FAQ
What if I don't have a bike?
There are Divvy stations outside of RPH, but we can’t guarantee there will be bikes available

Can I drink/smoke on the route?
I'm not a cop; respect others if imbibing and be responsible.

How do I get my bike to a stop?
WGT is on the route for the 22, 151, 155, and 36 busses, and all busses have a bike rack
RPH is off the Jarvis red stop and 2 bikes are allowed in each car except during peak hours

That's not enough time at each bar.
We have not officially partnered with WGT or RPH for the bike bus, but we encourage you to support our partner bars when time allows. Later games will have more time built in at RPH for socializing

For Trans Day of Visibility NWSL Supporters Groups are highlighting the accomplishments of famous athletes.  We are honored to highlight Chris Mosier.   Today and everyday we say #TransPeopleBelong  #TDOV 🏳️‍⚧️
For Trans Day of Visibility we’re highlighting the accomplishments of famous athletes. Their accomplishments on and off the field of play deserve to be celebrated. They are competitors, they are teammates, and they are strong. We hope that these visible athletes remind us that sports and athleticism are important to the whole trans community. Their fight, grit, and determination enrich us all. Today, we say Trans Athletes Belong.Chicago Local 134 Supporters Group is highlighting Chris Mosier. Born in Chicago, Chris is a trailblazing transgender triathlete, duathlete and hall of famer recognized for both his athletic achievements and advocacy. He is the first transgender athlete to represent the United States in international competition, the first transgender athlete in an ESPN Body Issue, and the first transgender athlete sponsored by Nike. He is also the first transgender athlete to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the gender they identify. Chris created the site transathlete.com, a resource for students, athletes, coaches, and administrators to find information about trans inclusion in athletics at various levels of play. He has mentored transgender athletes around the globe, from high school and recreational to the professional levels, and helped teams, leagues, and professional sports leagues create gender-inclusive policies. Thank you, Chris, for your continued determination to fight for trans and LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sports.a picture of Chris running in his USA uniform with a quote: "When I pull on my Team USA, I’m representing the very best of the US - the queer and trans people who are reimagining what is possible. Trans people belong on every race pitch, every field, and every race course. Period."

We and our fellow independent supporters groups stand with the players. #NWSL #NWSLPA
We stand with the NWSLPA in its opposition to the High Impact Player (HIP) rule and urge the NWSL to negotiate with the Players Union as required by the collective bargaining agreement.
The criteria for HIP status put forth by the league are arbitrary and unjust, largely leaving the earning potential of NWSL players in the hands of media members. Moreover, the HIP rule creates two tiers of players, will impact USWNT player development, and does not account for international player success.
We condemn the NWSL’s persistent attempts to interfere with fair pay, and we call on all fans to show the league that we stand with the players:
	•	Block the NWSL on all social media platforms
	•	Boycott of merchandise from the NWSL shop
	•	Email your team and the league that you are opposed to the HIP rule and the league’s refusal to bargain with the NWSLPA
