On the 7th of October 1988, the 1st episode of Gunbuster was released. The 6 Episode OVA was directed by Hideaki Anno & produced by Studio Gainax and would receive a sequel (Diebuster) in 2004. It debuted in SRW F Final (Sega Saturn) in 1998. Happy 38th Anniversary 🎉

Every time a new colosseum match starts in #FEFW I keep expecting to hear "Those about to die, salute you" and am disappointed when I don't lol

Started Leda's path in #FortunesWeave but I may Have to switch to the JP VO cause I don't know if I can do 40hrs of Buccar saying 'Milady' over & over... Like, My Lady would have been significantly better & not felt like he was about to tell me esoteric comic book lore before tipping his fedora...

I have always been Trails curious and have 'access' to the Vita remasters, should I play those or just start with the re-re-makes?

Ugh... I guess this is where I go and read that To Your Eternity ended with S2, but they wanted more so made an (un)original strory where he goes to high-school....

Finished Banishers Ghosts of New Eden, it was a really good game. Combat was a bit jank but the world and characters made it worth it. Oddly if you are a Supernatural fan this has a lot of early seasons energy with earch of the stories told.

ChibiRob @chibirob.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

The combat was the main reason I put this game down as I just didn't like the way it felt so I'm totally willing to try it again to see if I jive with it this time.

All I've wanted for years was a re-release of Dangaioh (the OVA, Not the movie) with a proper translation. It's a Quintessential 80s OVA worked on by Toshiki Hirano, Shoji Kawamori & Masami Obari! There was even a 30th anniversary edition a few years back but never left Japan 😭

Duskbloods looks incredibly cool and I have Zero desire to play it 😆 But ya, with it being an online only game I know connection will drop every 5m, so it's sadly another pass like Nightreign

Xenoblade combat cannot be explained, you just hit a button, try to make the color rings sync up until you go into a fuge state, and suddenly you are awoken Neo and can't explain how you got here

Kevin Sorbo - can't even enjoy Xena since Hercules goes hand in hand with the show and both were so much fun... but then he's there and you remember what a tool he is and it takes you out of everything.

The new He-Man movie was a hoot, the Mrs and I rather enjoyed it. I will prob pick up the BD when it is on sale. Leto wasn't terrible, he'll never be Frank Langella, but tbh nobody could. I would love to see that teased She-Ra movie though!

I hate that with everything going on with PS & physical games that I should go back to preordering physical Nintendo games while they are "cheaper" since they might start to become hard to get in any after market or just regular sales.

Glad to see Muramasa coming to PC. I asked Vanillaware’s George Kamitani why he hasn’t put his other games on PC and he said he totally wants to, but it’s up to the publisher to finance the ports. So if you want 13 Sentinels, Dragon’s Crown, Unicorn Overlord, Odin Sphere etc. on PC, make some noise.
