These people make Marie Antoinette look connected to the people and empathetic by comparison. They laugh at what their own voters are going through as they continue to mock them as they enrich themselves and have a great time.

Seems like they are doubling down on these lay offs at Bungie were necessary. Fuck Sony, fuck Bungie, and fuck the entire AAA industry for treating HUMAN BEINGS like disposable tools.

I'm sad to say I was affected by the Bungie layoffs today too - while I was only a contractor, the capture work I did with them was some of the most consistent income I had. While I'm scrambling to figure out what's next, our GFM from earlier this year is still up: www.gofundme.com/f/help-zoe-a...

I know a couple of devs at Bungie that got let go today. I just want to say that you are loved. You are appreciated by many across the pond, and that we appreciate everything you have done for us over the years. Just know we got your back.

Sadly, we are not being snapped up. I know a few absolutely amazing former Bungie devs from the last layoffs in 2024 who are now homeless or had to move in with their parents. Most are still job searching. A lot of us have had to leave the industry entirely.

When are we as gamers going to wake up and stand against these C suite, no clue people who just want to milk our money and take advantage of these studios. Bungie deserves better, Xbox deserves better, Gamers deserve better.

I just dont feel like gaming today. So many devs at Bungie losing their jobs, XBOX prices going up, GTA6 pricing. What happened to gaming in general.

Between Bungie layoffs, hardware price increases, and the many issues with GTA6’s pre-orders, this week might just be the best example of gaming enshitification yet

Well folks, the hand of the market got me: I've been impacted by layoffs at Bungie. It's been an incredible, astonishing pleasure working on Destiny 2 and a small part of Marathon with so many wonderful, talented folks. This was my first AAA job, at a studio whose games I'd played since childhood.

I'm impacted by today's layoffs, as is essentially the entire Destiny VFX team, leads and all.
It was a good half decade, Bungie.

This breaks my heart. The bungie dev team deserves so much more. This is not right! Why is it always the hard working people who put their love into something they enjoy always the one that get let go? Screw capitalism. #destiny2 #D2 #bungie

Impacted by the layoffs today. I was really hoping Bungie could hold on for at least another 2 years so I could get my 15 year sword XD It's been a dream to get to work with the best developers in the industry making some of the coolest shit. May all of us land on our feet <3

Well, I've been affected by the Bungie layoffs, and I guess I'm now looking for work. I'm a senior narrative designer on Destiny 2. I'm going to thread a little list of stuff I've done on the game; normally I go out of my way to avoid attention, but today I'd appreciate reposts.

I hope Bungie addresses the state of PVP. Its long overdue. People I use to play the game with are not there or moved on. Its in a hot mess. Remove SBMM/FBMM. No one uses it at this point. The population is on the brink.

Stream tonight. May do some PVP in the form of Checkmate. Yeah the weapons are blue, but the mode is so much fun and less hectic the SBMM control.
