I wanted to add tracing to our services. I was told that @sentry.io actually has them for a while. I only knew Sentry for error monitoring and issue tracking so this piqued my interest. Suffice to say, I love it.

The more I read about storage structures in databases, the more I realize how complex it is and how much I took it for granted. Advancements in this area has allowed for more complex and different use-cases such as log storage, time-series databases, etc.

Ngl, I never expected If-None-Match to be used this way. TiDB seems to be one of those databases that use S3 conditional writes for leader election.
