Another one with great representation of neurodivergent characters. As a woman with #ADHD, the FMC felt very authentic to me. I can't speak directly to the #OCD of the MMC, but it came across as genuine and complex. I especially loved the way the two valued and accommodated each other as-is. 💙📚

The first Ashley Poston story I read -- I also really liked The Dead Romantics and The Seven Year Slip. I love stories with some magic to them, especially if the magic doesn't follow well-trodden paths. Poston's magic always has a sense of wonder to it. 💙📚

I wasn't surprised to learn the author of this book is #ActuallyAutistic, because it contains a great portrayal of experiences common to many autistic women. This whole series is full of authentic characters who are neurodivergent or chronically ill. Not inspiration porn. People like me get HEAs.💙📚

Speaking of romcozies, this trilogy is a lot of fun. Murder and mayhem follow a character who has returned to her home town and now runs the family record shop with her sisters. There's a love triangle, but don't worry, she winds up with the man who is objectively the correct one. 💙📚

I'm so hoping the author writes more in this series! A great example of a romcozy, where the romance is a strong element in a cozy mystery. I loved the mystery part, but what stuck with me was the romance between the two men who need each other for sleuthing and more. 💙📚

I love me a cozy mystery, and a little magic makes it more fun. This whole series from Bailey Cates has an enjoyable magical world plus community, chosen family, and romance. Oh yes, and some murders get solved along the way. 💙📚

Consider this a stand-in for Connie Willis in general. I've known her writing since my grad school roommate loaned me "To Say Nothing of the Dog," but I've read more of her in recent years. The Oxford Time Travel stories are great reads, especially. 💙📚

I finished the series, albeit out of order. They're all excellent stories, but an observation relevant to recent romance-novel discourse: My favorite (Last Call at the Local) is the only on in *dual* first-person POV. I liked the in-depth exploration of both MCs. #romancelandia 💙📚 🌶️📚 🎧📚
