A great day out on Sunday with @waveneybirdclub.bsky.social for the annual Bioblitz at Heveningham Hall. 36 of us watched the moth traps being opened, then split into 3 groups for recording across various parts of the estate. Organised by #HarryRead Great Crested Newt at a new sight was a highlight

Just back from a week with Denis Bohm of #WildHerzegovina. The birds, plants, and scenery was spectacular. Highlights include Nutcracker, Turtle Dove, and pesticide free meadows with Carthusian Pinks, Astrantia, Gentian, and a kaleidoscope of butterflies. Beware of mines signs at several sites

Fantastic week away with Dimiter from Neophron in Bulgaria, around Varna and Burgas. Watching 1.5k Pelican shuffling along and taking off was spectacular. Watching WTE fishing amongst the Cormorant, Pallas's Gull, and Black Woodpecker were all highlights
