experiment with the slide jump now the slide jump is more of a long jump instead of a high jump the high jump is still a thing though, but you can just jump when crouching to perform it #gamedev #pollyparrot

Antonblast to an extent does something like this too, it also takes influence from Crash Bandicoot as well, and to a point I’d argue it’s more Crash than Wario

Of course there is nothing wrong with being inspired by Wario Land of Pizza Tower, but I do think there’s a difference between being influenced and just making a game that’s just Pizza Tower again

decided to experiment about with the thought that dashing into an enemy would just bounce you off them instead of damage you and also keeping the crate smashing properties it had before #gamedev #pollyparrot

i think the issue with the dash breaking crates that folks have brought up wasn't it being game breaking but how it doesn't make sense that it could break crates but not damage enemies, and to be frank, I don't want to make the dash an attack
