I hate navigating the social aspect of it. I never even came out to anyone but my mom because of it; though to be fair she knew before I did. I suppose "not coming out" just feels easier when most people in your family and area are transphobic.

I have two thoughts to add on to this. The first is that Favorite Character, Least Favorite Character, and Introduction To The Franchise are all tied together for a lot of people. Also that the more obscure a least favorite character is the more heated the hatred seems to be & the more funny as well

Fuck it, here's a new mythical animal: "Crowtty" (crow + kitty) A Crowtty is an animal that can transform between a black cat and a crow. Both hunters and gatherers, the Crowtty are believed to be magical beings who hunt for resources to bring to Witches to make potions out of in exchange for food.

Hi! Forgot to mention, cause tapas is dying I've pulled Plundercats and Personal Space from there. They're still up on webtoon and namicomi, though. I hope to self-host them eventually so they don't get lost, but because they're both over, and demand is likely low, it's not a priority.

The Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door includes its own fictional language that is a cipher for English. Amusingly, the misspelled "Game Cuve" graffiti from the original version is translated into the new language... but still reads "Game Cuve" when deciphered.

The Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door contains an in-universe language used for signs and labels that is a cipher (i.e. a one-to-one symbol conversion) for English.
Textures that were in English or unreadable in the original (left) are translated into the cipher in the remake (right). The remake's poster reads "Wanted" and the signboard reads "Signboard".
A famously misspelled "Game Cuve" graffiti appears in Rogueport in the original.
In the remake, it can be seen through this arch from the back.
Analyzing it reveals that it is still misspelled! The designers deliberately kept the misspelling in the translation.
