starting that nintendo direct off with "the same monster hunter announcement" "the same final fantasy announcement" and "legend of zelda after the zelda specific direct" all back to back was a special brand of evil on nintendos part

if ever i pursue romance i am testing the mental fortitude of my partner by forcing them through a car ride of all the most generic trashy 2000s hits i love if they can survive the onslaught of "who let the dogs out" "toxic" and "a thousand miles" back to back then they may be worthy

local femcel makes you engage with her media opinions (some arent fully true but i really wanted to adhere to one series usage per pick)

as somebody really critical of the trailers, i will say that new fist of the north star anime is better than trailers made it out to be i have my faults with it still, but i think it's competently put together and has the heart i want so far, maybe itll improve its nice to be happy about fotns

Pokémon Adventure chapter names are so funny because they all feel the need to be some sort of pun or alliteration on a Pokémon name and you can really tell when the translators just had nothing Why is the Graveler Disagreeable I'm going to be thinking about it all night

040

Cherry Witch @cherry-witch.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

as someone who got into the franchise pretty late into its lifespan, i really appreciate how dragon ball game rosters arent afraid to include total weirdos like dude yeah ill play dodoria and spopovich why not its something i wish more anime games really leaned into, just having the total freaks

i recently played through both pokémon ruby and sapphire back to back, and was surprised how much care was put into certain changes being more than just swapping words around for the villains, its attention to detail i really respect whys the male rival such a jerk compared to the girl one though

160

Cherry Witch @cherry-witch.bsky.social · 23/01/2026

currently thinking deeply about the idea of a snes style jrpg but your main party is just The Beatles

140

Cherry Witch @cherry-witch.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

in a world bloated with unnecessary and unfitting crossovers, i feel like we've truly missed out on the easy goldmine of having the plot of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater taking place in the setting of The Jungle Book i need big boss to learn about the bear necessities

020

Cherry Witch @cherry-witch.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

i found an archived version of the official strategy guide for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire today and was flipping through it there's something really cool about seeing some of the old watercolor art for mons that didn't get updated next to new more modern art, great timepiece for the series.
