Dang so I missed out on the save it for the patients achievement since I didn't realize it started before I got to the hospital 🙃 Turns out hospital otherworld is not related. I think I will just restart the otherworld so I can pick up the health stuff tomorrow!

The Silent Hill Townfall CRTV keychain from OKS Gear also arrived! It's chonky! This is more like a paper weight less like a keychain lol. Looks awesome though! Will take better pics this weekend 🙂

So relieved I got a new ending 🙌 I was convinced I was going to get Abandoned again! The game crashed during the ending though! I couldn't believe it 😆 I've had only 2 crashes & both happened this NG+ run. Once during the 1st stream of NG+ when I walked into town & now while watching the ending!

Arguably the worst kind of person is someone who masquerades as kind, compassionate, empathetic and progressive, but it's all a facade for a genuinely horrible human being.

I've been slowly progressing through Silent Hill Townfall. Halfway currently. I must say, it definitely has the SH creepy factor. They nailed the sound/music and the environments/enemies. Gameplay mechanic wise, it kinda reminds me of Alien Isolation, which is not a bad thing! Jumping back in... 🧟‍♂️

Silent Hill 2 (Remake) (PC) AKA MY FAVORITE SERIES IS BACK FROM THE DEAD! (using SH2 as a representation of the revival of Silent Hill) A new game to look forward to every year and new merch to add to my collection. My wallet hates me 🙃

Deadly Premonition (360/PC) - New obsession unlocked! This game has such a great story and York is my new fav protagonist ever! 2nd game fan site and my 2nd attempt at writing a walkthrough. Oh wow the things I wrote and the map I made is now being used officially? How the hell did this happen?

Silent Hill Shattered Memories (Wii) - I love SH1 and I love visiting SH sites and forums. I'm going to try and put together a site and blog about this upcoming "reimagining"... This leads to meeting a lot of friends, interacting more with an online community, and starting my first podcast!

Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) - THIS IS STRESSFUL BUT SO MUCH FUN!!! THEY ARE ALL AFTER ME. OMG I got my head chopped off?!?! Man did Leon had such a glow up! I didn't understand why everyone loved him in RE2 but I'm on this hype train now. Love those corny one liners, bless him.

Resident Evil (DC) (PS1) - Hey the horror game genre has really interesting stories! I think I like playing survival horror the most!

Final Fantasy 7 (PS1) - Inspired to try playing on my own & not just wait for my brother to cont. his own game & watch. Gained confidence. I *could totally* play vgs np & since I loved the method of story telling I branched out to other games & asked for a PS1 of my own for Xmas. ❤️ FF7 fansites too.

Maniac Mansion (NES) - Not the first (that honor goes to Kangaroo on Atari) but it's the first I bought & played to completion (both w/ help from @goblinhorde.bsky.social) Wanted to play b/c I wanted to know why there was a bloodied chainsaw in the kitchen, hint to future love of survival horror?

I'm very honored!! Never thought I would be cool enough for stuff like this given that I'm not a games journalist or lots of followers! I hope that they continue like my various SH streams/podcasts/posts enough to consider me again! I can't wait to see what else coming out. Psyched for SH1 RM ❤️

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

This is my first experience getting a PR package directly so maybe they just randomly send some people things, like known gaming journalists/influencers if they have the address on file already? 🤔 [end]

120

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

If this person really didn't need/want it they could have refused so the PR team could pick another person. I think that's what grinds my gears most about the situation. But you know maybe I'm wrong & they were randomly sent out & only certain ppl got an email before hand? [cont]

130

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

(This is again why I wasn't sure why I was chosen as there was no references to me or my SH content in anyway - just a "hey we want to send this! Do you want?! 👀"). [cont]

110

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I don't see why not? It's not like the email to me was personalized in anyway it just said "Hi" and then went into the spiel about the limited item and the game. It seemed very much like a generic email going to a lot of different people. [cont]

110

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

That only 100 exist and that they wished to offer one to me. (There were no pics or anything). *IF* I was interested I had to fill out a form and share my mailing address with them (OF COURSE I WAS lol) I'm not sure if this was the case with the person selling theirs but [cont]

chemiro.bsky.social @chemiro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Sorry still thinking about the CRTV auction that's now over $3k atm 😱 It's a bit strange that the seller said "I do not need it" in the auction. In the email I received, it said they crafted a super limited ed item after the CRTV item in celebration of the game release. [cont]
