AC8 in hand 🔥 I'm going to finish Townfall and Wolverine first, though.

LionheartWill 🎃🦇 @lionheartwill.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I've been slowly progressing through Silent Hill Townfall. Halfway currently. I must say, it definitely has the SH creepy factor. They nailed the sound/music and the environments/enemies. Gameplay mechanic wise, it kinda reminds me of Alien Isolation, which is not a bad thing! Jumping back in... 🧟‍♂️

My other Limited Run shipment came in. The Heretic and Hexen collection (PS5 version). I remember getting the original Heretic shareware PC big box at Price Club/Costco back when they actually sold computer software in the early 90's. I'm full of weird ass memories like this 😂

Game Completion #12 Metroid Prime Remastered - Switch 2 09-16-2026 Retro Studios did a fantastic job remastering Metroid Prime. It was really great revisiting this game after 23 years! I hope Retro gets to remaster Echoes and Corruption in the future.

Before the day is out. Happy 27th anniversary to Final Fantasy VIII. The North American release was on this day in 1999 🪽 I remember I had just started college. I was hyped beyond belief and had shown off the FFVIII demo disc to all my friends. It became my forever favorite Final Fantasy game ⚔️

Game Completion #9 Final Zone - PS5 Pro Platinumed 🏆 09-04-2026 This is a re-release of the 1990 Mega Drive/Genesis retro game. It's an isometric action shooter with horrible controls, lol. It was fun, though. I ran through it pretty quickly.

I think Shadows of the Empire deserves more credit for making Star Wars relevant again for 90s kids I was born after RotJ, so I mostly had TV reruns. Then SotE comes out in 96 and BOOM! I'm obsessed with Star Wars again. Does anyone else feel like SotE kinda boosted their excitement for it too?

World of Horror was one. It's not really that scary per se, but what gets me is the constant unsettling sense of dread. And the horrific imagery. It's pretty impressive for a retro 80's style 1-bit game!

Game Completion #8 Cyberpunk 2077 - PS5 Pro 08-23-2026 I finally went back and completed a base ending of the game. I may go back and do additional quests and trophy mop-up. From playing the original buggy release on Xbox One, I gotta say, it's stable and great now. I’m glad I played through it!

I was watching more Gachiakuta last night, and it hit me why I love its style so much. It reminds me of Jet Set Radio! Just with a dirty dystopia world setting. It's got that Japanese punk, heavy lined graffiti Dreamcast era styling going on.

The process to get UPS to investigate my lost package (containing an expensive game) has become extremely aggravating. And apparently, if they refund the amount that the item cost, it goes back to the seller? At which point, they have to do the honorable thing and refund me. 1 month, what a mess.
