Today was our 1st trip to Shaker Village. 2026 marks the 40th year of Shaker Studies at my school. A rough average means that around 700 students ever, have had this experience. I feel so fortunate to have been one of them and that I now get to pass it on! 📸 Br. Arnold and a class from the past

Ahh yes, the shower is absolutely where to store my kettle bells. You workout and shower at the same time! So efficient! Storing the electric toothbrushes and shaver in there just makes sense. 😕 😂 It’s so close, yet so far. I don’t expect better of Amazon though.

Glen had an incredible gift and I feel lucky I got to experience it in person at least once. This was Sept 2025 in Boston on a very soggy day. Glen came on stage and you forgot you were damp, chilly and the ground squished, your were transported. My insta feed is nothing but vids of him today 😭💔

This wasp has been trying to stuff this grasshopper into a small hole on my patio table for the past 15 minutes. Gotta admire the tenacity but it is not going to fit. It finally gave up and dropped the grasshopper somewhere.

PSA to all our new visitors looking to take a taste if the US home. Avoid the liquid restrictions and get this! It comes as a jar. From it you can make your own dressing very simply, ranch dip for veggies (or my favorite, pretzels), or use as a powder to season chicken, potatoes, etc.

Spent the day at Brunswick Pride with my GSTA. They designed and hand printed bags, patches and stickers to sell to raise funds for club activities. They did such a great job! We’ve been blessed with some talented artists! Also thankful for my incredible co-advisor! (📷 posted with permission)

Since I’m on a Maine suffrage kick, here is Lucy Nicolar Poolaw, voting for the first time in 1954 when Maine finally allowed Native Americans to vote. She was a member of the Penobscot nation and active in the suffrage movement. Suffs leaves this part out. #hatm

Can confirm. Have seen him 3x in the US (NYC and Bostonx2). Already plan to catch him in Montreal this fall for an anniversary trip! Here’s our album cover. This was from his first limited tour. No way was I missing in case he never came back. The night before we saw Netta in the same spot (2022).

In 2022 hubs & I spent a long weekend in NYC seeing a couple shows at the Bowery. It happened to be on Triangle Shirtwaist Day. You bet I dragged him down there. No way was I going to be so close and not pay my respects. White carnations are traditional, but I was feeling the yellow rose.

Early spring in Maine means Maple Weekend!! Enjoyed the time at our local sugarhouse, had ice cream with maple syrup, and some delicious empanadas from Empanada Club. Got out and enjoyed the sun! Tomorrow snow will fall again.
