I have been thinking a lot about dreams and how they become hard to realize. Eventhought I'm doing this, YouTube videos, my dream is to open my own cider brewery. However I could use your help and I understand I would need to offer something in return.🍽️🍋

Do u or would u support a gofundme project? Let’s say I would have a dream to open a brewery(which is an actual dream). I’m asking cause I’m somewhat hesitant to start one🍋🍽️

It was just for the picture after that everything went on the right places

Well thank you. But I’m sure u can as well if u think about it. So brine chicken is boil water salt, set aside to cool, for kombucha’s the same boil water sugar set aside to cool. Make flavoring oil, everything in a bag and let it cook. Might be the power of some gadgets

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 08/09/2025
This might be a quick prep again. Making elderflower kombucha, taking care of all the kombucha scoby’s. Marinating chicken. Making oak oil, lemongrass oil, herb oil, ginger lemongrass oil.. does this look much for 15 min work?🍋🍽️

That is not bad. I was thinking last week, maybe I can make my cooking more efficient at home. Marinate and cook it or marinate and freeze it and just use that for dinner instead of having x amount of containers of leftovers in the fridge

Time for some kitchen hacks. But is it a hack or is it something for food prep or am I just being lazy🍽️🍋

Well then something will be on the way,, it’s something simple that ppl might know but it’s just to show how convenient it can be

like equipment, instant pot/pressure cooker, kitchen aid, sous vide machine/water circulator, la crueset(oven pot). Thermoblender(blender that can warm up to boiling point) . I’m a bit stacked and use most, just not sure if I should use it as well for the videos(which I have not been doing)

I will do some name dropping/picture sharing.. like equipment, instant pot/pressure cooker, kitchen aid, sous vide machine/water circulator, la crueset(oven pot). Thermoblender(blender that can warm up to boiling point)

Oh yeah little side mention, I do t own like big brands or something. Often I go to local cooking store or ikea and get a few like nothing special. If I would need something specific I would get that
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 25/08/2025
Well I mean I got like 8 knives lying around(and a few small knives). But I mainly used of like actual a spatula like this, a wooden spoon, tweezers. I’m leaving out the bowls and actual equipment cause I will share that later

Well that might surprise you.. when it comes to utensils I don’t need much but I do have a lot

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 25/08/2025
Haha I feel that.. I can say that I might be getting pretty close as well

Would it be interesting to see what a professional cook has actually at home to work with or uses at home often?? 🍋🍽️

Sure not a problem.. I don’t wear crocks or something like that.. I’m just sneakers like this

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 08/08/2025
I’m kinda curious.. what do you all think of this picture.. it looks pretty cool. And believe it or not but this is my work uniform 🍋🍽️

Time to take it a bit slower and enjoy the summer weather… having some nice sourdough breads fermented slowly in the fridge fits perfectly with it🍋🍽️

Printed recipe/notebook I use as well , bad memory and to much to remember. I sometimes feel when I look at certain recipes not everything is mentioned or left out
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 20/06/2025
Sounds like a nice amount of stuff u get. Do u got a slow cooker/instant pot and a sousvide machine as well?
100
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
No I was wondering in general . Saying you like food or your a foodie is easy. So I was wondering which part of it is interesting to someone. For content ngl, not something easy to come up with or understand and do something that isn’t burgers or pizza or something like that
110
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
Well that’s interesting?? So let’s say you make pesto, you don’t switch from pine nuts to hazelnuts or instead of basil use wild garlic or spinach?
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
I find that more interesting as well.. for me unique ingredients is not understandable because I can’t get it and not taste it.. I started to see that a lot of technique or dishes can look very similar which is actually pretty funny
110
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
So there you can do some interesting experiments like.. can you ferment green asparagus on its own, so no added sugar or honey
110
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
Like do the techniques that they show or show (on videos) or perhaps unique ingredients or flavor combination or something that u know but in a twist that you haven’t see before/ thought of that makes it interesting for you
100
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 13/06/2025
So this might be an unusual question coming from a chef, but I’m curious. Cooking can be super technical but what do you find interesting? 🍽️🍋

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
So tartare I thought might be mussy and might look more like off cuts trying to salvage. I think carpaccio would not honor the fish(defrosted salmon slices) Hmmm textural, that doesn’t understandable
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
Sadly I didn’t found the proper seaweed powder for it so I tried with nori which didn’t give that same nice effect.. If you know grab lax/smoked salmon it would be a play on that or twist on that. Salmon apple, cucumber, crème fraiche is a classic combo so I thought might be nice
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
Well i can tell you the thought process.. so seaweed can act like glue cause it absorb liquid and make it stick together.. then you have a natural salt flavor added to it.. I cooked it on 42 degrees in my sous vide for 40 minutes so it’s still a bit raw but the seaweed would get wet and stick
100
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
That is reasonable.. the next part to make it interesting I was thinking of smoking it.. however it is fresh salmon. I thought would be something interesting as a starter, but for now it’s just fresh salmon

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
Which part is nope? Rethink or not eat?
000
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 10/06/2025
Tried bringing a salmon fillet back together with seaweed powder. It… almost held 😅 Paired with Granny Smith + cucumber salad. Still figuring it out. Would you eat this? Or rethink it? 👀🍋🍽️

Making bonbons from scratch? Absolute chaos — chocolate everywhere, ganache doing whatever it wants, molds just vibing. It’s messy, it’s fun, and honestly… that snap at the end makes it all worth it 😅🍫🍋 🎥 Full chocolate mayhem right here: 👉https://youtube.com/shorts/fG9784oKmeA

Making chocolate bonbons at home is a delightful experience. My simple ganache satisfies sweet cravings, and filling them is easy. I love pairing them with coffee, using dark chocolate for a coffee ganache, creating a treat perfect for any occasion.🍋 🍽️

See so that I can understand. You don’t need to be a good connoisseur that’s normal. But saying things like a salad needs lettuce isn’t solid reasoning. Otherwise potato salad or coleslaw wouldn’t be a thing either🙂 (I might sound mean but I didn’t ment to)

This lesser-known sauce is fantastic, especially on steak, where it melts for a rich bite. Perfect for barbecue season, its savory, salty taste and creamy texture complement meats, veggies, and seafood. Use it on grilled chicken, roasted veggies, or as a dip to elevate any meal!🍋 🍽️

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 04/06/2025
Oke but what about a fruit salad then? That doesn’t have lettuce in it

Does this look like a salad for you?🍋🍽️

The summer is here again so time to do some fresh pasta dishes but with a twist. It might be that you never thought about it or heard about but the hardest part is still cooking the pasta🍋🍽️

Capers are used in Italian kitchen but it’s not a replacement since cafe de Paris sauce has capers in it. So that doesn’t need to be replaced
021
Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 09/05/2025
So I made cafe de Paris which a pretty French sauce.. and now I’m wondering could I make it Italian.. like Italy doesn’t use mustard, so with what Italian product would you replace it 🍽️🍋

Chef Jerry Miller @chefjerrymiller.bsky.social · 05/05/2025
Trying something new or actually a classic .. cafe de Paris sauce. Like a true classic, butter and cream of course but with a lot of the spring herbs can make a perfect addition to the evening meal 🍋🍜🍽️

Whole grain pasta, roasted paprika, sundried tomatoes and basil. Not a combination I use often BUT oddly enough it’s a pasta dish without a sauce so I had to try it.. What are your thoughts of it??🍋

Sometimes, trying something different leads to amazing results! This chicken dish turned out so good, it has me eager to experiment more. Who knows how much of a difference it could make next time?
