Here's your Elemoots Grazing Board — the transition metals in the middle go first every time, so grab your cheese and meatball picks now before that cluster's picked clean. chef.cee.wtf/shared/zcA2ES37LxOm1Uo…
Elemoots Grazing Board. A grazing board sorted like a periodic table, with savory bites grouped into flavor families and little cream cheese symbols piped on to label each one. Salty tomatoes, sweet honeyed grapes, and sharp pickled jalapeños each get their own cluster and their own gap, so the whole tray reads like something you could look up an atomic number on.Elemoots Grazing Board

A grazing board sorted like a periodic table, with savory bites grouped into flavor families and little cream cheese symbols piped on to label each one. Salty tomatoes, sweet honeyed grapes, and sharp pickled jalapeños each get their own cluster and their own gap, so the whole tray reads like something you could look up an atomic number on.

From the chef: There's a real satisfaction in sorting a snack board instead of just dumping everything in the middle of the table, and that's the trick I built this one around. Elemoots is such a good mashup of elements and moots that I wanted the food to actually behave like a chart — bites grouped by flavor family, little cream cheese tags standing in for atomic symbols, gaps left on purpose where a family doesn't belong. I did something close to this for my sister-in-law Renata's graduation cookout, sorting the deviled eggs and pickles by "reactive" versus "mild" just so my brother would stop hovering over the tray, and it worked so well I never went back to a plain platter. This one leans savory-metal heavy in the middle with the sweet stuff tucked in its own corner, same as the real thing keeps its noble gases off to the side. Nothing here needs the oven besides a quick warm-through on the meatballs, so it comes together fast enough to build while people are still finding chairs.

Serves 14.

Ingredients:
- 24 piece cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tsp flaky sea salt
- 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
- 8 oz salami, thinly sliced
- 24 piece mini meatballs, cooked
- 1 cup pickled jalapeño slices, drained
- 36 piece butter crackers
- 1 lb seedless red grapes
- ¼ cup honey
- 4 cup popcorn, popped and plain
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened, divided
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika, divided

Method:
1. Halve the cherry tomatoes and toss with the flaky sea salt, then skewer each half on a toothp…

Cut straight down the middle before anyone grabs a corner piece — that's the only way to see the whole trick in this Recursion Lasagna, three dinners baked one inside the other clear down to the one that finally stops. chef.cee.wtf/shared/A_zufGxMFjASNSo…
Recursion Lasagna. Recursion Lasagna nests three complete lasagnas one inside the next, the smallest fully baked first as the base case, the largest built last to hold the whole table. Slice straight through the center and every piece reveals the stack, ring by ring, all the way down to the one that stopped it.Recursion Lasagna

Recursion Lasagna nests three complete lasagnas one inside the next, the smallest fully baked first as the base case, the largest built last to hold the whole table. Slice straight through the center and every piece reveals the stack, ring by ring, all the way down to the one that stopped it.

From the chef: Now here's a build that starts small and works its way out, kind of like nesting mixing bowls before you put them away. My sister's boy Dmitri was trying to explain his computer science homework to me over Labor Day — something about a function that keeps calling itself until it finally hits a spot where it stops — and it clicked for me the second I pictured a lasagna baked inside a lasagna inside a lasagna. So that's the plan here: a little four-inch lasagna gets fully baked first and that's your stopping point, then it rides inside a medium pan of more noodles and sauce, and that whole thing rides inside the big nine-by-thirteen for the table. Same meat sauce and cheese filling feed all three, just portioned out as the pans get bigger. When you finally slice down the center you get tidy nested squares like rings in a tree stump, and nobody believes there's a whole little dinner hiding in the middle until you cut it open.

Serves 12.

Ingredients:
- 16 piece lasagna noodles, boiled, divided into three sizes
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 piece yellow onion, minced
- 4 clove garlic, minced
- 56 oz crushed tomatoes, two 28 oz cans
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ¼ cup fresh basil, torn, divided
- 32 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 piece eggs, beaten
- 1½ cup parmesan cheese, grated, divided
- 5 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- black pepper

Method:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic until soft, about 5…

Give this Propitious Mango a minute before you bite in — that shell sets hard so the first crack gives way to a sorbet heart nobody sees coming. Built the gradient by hand, no shortcuts. chef.cee.wtf/shared/UaSHCYJOQoqFLYR…
Propitious Mango. A mango-shaped ice cream bar built in three real layers — a tart mango sorbet heart frozen inside a rich mango ice cream body, dipped in a white chocolate shell blended orange-red to yellow-green like the fruit's own blush. Good luck optional, real mango flavor guaranteed.Propitious Mango

A mango-shaped ice cream bar built in three real layers — a tart mango sorbet heart frozen inside a rich mango ice cream body, dipped in a white chocolate shell blended orange-red to yellow-green like the fruit's own blush. Good luck optional, real mango flavor guaranteed.

From the chef: There's a particular kind of luck in a popsicle mold that comes out looking exactly like the fruit it's named for, and that's the whole game with this one — I saw that little dome-packed bar with the two-tone shell and knew right away it wasn't just orange food coloring slapped on a stick, it's a real gradient, built like a sunset. So we're doing this in three moves: a tart mango sorbet heart frozen first so every bite has a surprise center, a rich no-churn mango ice cream body poured around it, and a white chocolate shell split into two bowls and dip-blended so the shoulders go orange-red into a yellow-green belly, same as the fruit on the vine. I made a version of this for my sister-in-law's retirement party a couple summers back using egg-shaped candy molds for the hearts because that's what the church rummage sale happened to have, and it worked like a charm. Patience is the only tricky ingredient here — every layer wants its own trip to the freezer before you move on. Get that part right and you end up with something that looks store-bought and tastes like actual mango, not a shadow of it.

Serves 8.

Ingredients:
- 4 piece ripe mangoes, peeled and diced, divided
- ¾ cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 piece lime, juiced, divided
- 1½ cup heavy cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, one can
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- salt, a pinch
- 12 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, divided
- orange gel food coloring, to taste
- yellow gel food coloring, to taste
- 8 piece popsicle sticks

Method:
1. Puree mango with sugar and half the lime juice until smooth,…

Here you go — the Jevburgers, one good patty and four lettered answer stations, so nobody's stuck with a topping they didn't pick themselves. Station A's the one that goes fastest at my table, just so you know. chef.cee.wtf/shared/vZ7hzwsTizREqo-…
Jevburgers. A hot-off-the-grill beef burger paired with four lettered topping stations — smoky, spicy, tangy, and herby — so every eater answers the same question their own way. One good patty, four very different right answers.Jevburgers

A hot-off-the-grill beef burger paired with four lettered topping stations — smoky, spicy, tangy, and herby — so every eater answers the same question their own way. One good patty, four very different right answers.

From the chef: Coals are just about grey now, and I've got a good idea brewing for these Jevburgers. Way I figure it, if folks want to sit down and pick an answer off a multiple choice screen, they oughta be able to do the same thing with their toppings — so I'm setting up four little stations, lettered A through D right on the board, each one arguing for a different kind of burger. Smoky bacon and caramelized onion, a spicy pickled jalapeno kick, a tangy BBQ and crispy onion crunch, or a cool garlic aioli with peppery greens — you grill one great patty, then everybody at the table answers the same question their own way. Made something close to this for my brother-in-law's fantasy football draft party and by the third round guys were arguing over which letter was the "correct" one, which I figure means it worked. Nothing fancy in the meat itself, just good beef, hot grill, and a little patience — the fun's all in the multiple choice.

Serves 6.

Ingredients:
- 2 lb ground beef, 80/20, for patties
- kosher salt
- black pepper, cracked
- 6 piece burger buns
- 2 tbsp butter, softened, for buns
- 6 piece american cheese slices
- 6 slice bacon, cooked crisp, for station A
- 1 piece yellow onion, thinly sliced, divided
- ½ cup pickled jalapenos, for station B
- 2 tbsp hot sauce, for station B
- ½ cup bbq sauce, for station C
- ½ cup crispy fried onions, for station C
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise, for station D aioli
- 1 clove garlic, minced, for station D aioli
- 1 cup arugula, for station D

Method:
1. Divide the ground beef into 6 loose balls and press into patties a bit wider than your buns, then season both sides heavy with kosher salt and black pepper…
