Awww, such a baby! Kinda funny that both Pepper and Churro are named after foods quite related to Mexican cuisine. I'll give Churro extra special chin scritches in honor of Pepper!

As a fan of spicy food, I've noticed that Japanese food tends to have a very similar flavor to its "spicyness"- from chips, to ramen, to curry. It tastes more oil-based, if that makes sense. I'm wondering if it's a specific ingredient they use to make their dishes more spicy.

OKAY, INSTALLING WINDOWS ROUND 2, THIS TIME ON A NEW SSD ENTIRELY! So far so good, not getting the same hiccups as I did last time.

CheeseYeen @cheeseyeen.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Okay so now I'm thinking I may just have a faulty SSD. Even after reinstalling Windows, I got an Unexpected Store Exception again, was able to boot up again for like 5 minutes, and now I can't boot at all. This is infuriating.

CheeseYeen @cheeseyeen.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

So my desktop isn't booting anymore, so I'm pulling the plug and reinstalling Windows. Bit of a pain, but thankfully I don't store project files on the boot drive. Gonna have to reinstall Steam and Vegas, but I can live with that.

WOW. Since my work drama is done and my next YT video won't be going up until way later this month, I actually had time to paint some #40k models for the first time in... forever? I might even have time to paint tomorrow, too, and get my Emperor's Children army halfway decent! #warhammer #hobbying

New #tattoo! Also wow, DEFINITELY my most painful thus far, though worth it since #Okami is one of my favorite games of all time. Great work by Momo Tattoo company! (Issun is a bit red there because of the blood). VERY slowly getting this patchwork sleeve done!

An arm tattoo of Okami Amaterasu and Issun set against a red sun.

One of the best parts of being a DM is the trying to keep a poker face while your players are about to unintentionally do something incredibly dangerous that you never planned for. For the #WoD players, my brand new players almost learned what diablerie is.

New favorite image I've created for this channel.

Damn- turns out, when you can finally just have a full day to work you can get a LOT of shit done! Edited a total of 9 minutes for the next video (total of 10) so THAT'S a nice boost.

Y'know i just realized. it's kinda weird we call toast "toast" when "toast" is just something you can do to food. It'd be like calling a boiled egg just "boiled". Like you go to a restaurant and say "I'd like the breakfast with 2 boilds".

I love running a #WorldofDarkness campaign because the question "can I fit my Mini Cooper down this alley" led to my PC's outfitting wooden javelins to the side of her car, charging it down that alley, and skewering a vampire who had been worn down by our brawler and burned CIA agent. #WoD #TTRPG

Saw Coyote vs. ACME yesterday. Fantastic movie, laughed a ton, and had a touch predictable but still very satisfying emotional core. I really hope more people go to see this in theaters. Also, FUCK David Zaslav for cancelling a finished movie out of greed. People like him ruin everything.

The more I hear about the #Wolverine game the more bluh I get. Was REALLY looking forward to it, and all the news keeps talking about everything that I really hate in modern AAA #gaming. Was gonna buy that on launch, now might not buy it even on sale. Welp, gives me more time for Okami, i guess.

The struggle of being a DM (or Storyteller for #WorldofDarkness ) is the fact that I am SO EXCITED for what comes next but I gotta wait till all our schedules align. Like I am SO hype for next session but we're prolly not gonna meet till late next week GAH!

Last day of #Dragoncon and god damn I'm exhausted. Done a ton of walking, a TON of sweating, but saw some fun panels and bought some fun merch. Might take pictures of some of the blind boxes I got later. Granted I only got two but, y'know.

So something I've noticed, apparently one of the most CONTROVERSIAL things I do in my videos is heavily roll my R's for emphasis. I don't care if people hate it- it's fun to do and the waveform looks hilarious.

CheeseYeen @cheeseyeen.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Something odd I've noticed. I like to play games in Spanish to help me learn, and it's often first party #Nintendo games I have a harder time understanding. There were quite a few conversations in #Pokopia I struggled with compared to #Persona 5, which I found easier. Anyone know why that might be?

So I learned something new. Apparently it's not uncommon for a newly published video on #YouTube to be unsearchable for algorithm purposes or something. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time and spare me the heart attack thinking I got shadow banned, lol. No I'm fine, perfectly fine.

It's amazing how cutting out just 3 minutes in a video can make things flow WAY better. This actually happens a lot, where I cut out stuff I've recorded and edited near the finish line for the sake of flow.

Whenever I get stuck trying to find music for a video, I just browse my Steam library and see what I think might fit. Went with a track from Furi since I feel both heavily feature prisons.

Aight, had a stressful morning. My new PC hard froze and crashed with a kmode exception error. On restart it refused to move from the mobo start screen, but I COULD access BIOS, and it would only boot windows if I held down the reset button. The issue? Discord. How in the HELL did #Discord do that?

Today I say goodbye to an old friend. Had this PC in some form for nearly two decades, built and re-built her who knows how many times, but it's finally time to let her rest. Farewell old friend, may you dream of younger days.

Alright, most of my busywork is done, should be able to get back to editing the next main channel vid. Still hoping to have it out sometime this month- it's acting as a kind of Part 2 to my previous vid, but focusing on #PoppyPlaytime 's story.

0141

CheeseYeen @cheeseyeen.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

One of my favorite parts of being a storyteller for a #WorldofDarkness campaign (Hunter specifically) is that I both have moments of "All according to plan" and "What wait no WHAT?!". Also, last session I was able to say "The Black Parade leads you out of sleep" and yes it was about #MCR #WoD

I wish I could crack open the source code to Vegas 14 just to ask it why in the hell it just randomly decides "yes I'll freeze everything to re-process these peaks that were built days ago." I've basically lost this ENTIRE day to trying to get Vegas to stop doing that.

So a little after my first Bendy video dropped, someone made a response (can't remember their name) critiquing my viewpoint. I can't find it anymore and that makes me kinda sad if they took it down. I welcome criticism, and I legit took some of that vid to heart.

Btw, there IS garlic and onion powder in the ingredients list, so I'm gonna be monitoring him for signs of sickness, but it was a TINY piece and he's young. Also he is STILL actively harassing me for more so he ain't feelin' sick yet, lol.
