It's still insane to me they made a plushy of Rescue Rabbit but only like 4 of them ever and they gave them away as prizing or something

I don't know why I felt compelled to make this

During the final battle of the Branded lore, despite being near death, Swordsoul Longyuan was able to discover the Supreme Sovereign Serpent of Golgonda of all things, and merged with it to create this 8 star Main Deck monster.

Still funny to me how the POTE week of Progression Playoffs wasn't dominated by either of the two decks that dominated the main metagame, but this guy. Just goes to show how insane this card is at lower power levels.

Here's a link to the quiz as well as some more results of mine that I am significantly less offended by openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...

Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Professor Oak from Pokemon, as well as Valentine Wiggin from Ender's Game and Bean from Ender's Game

One of the larger overarching series of card "lore" follows this girl, Ecclesia, as one of the main characters. They're actually about to adapt her lore into a short web series starting in April.

Very true, but there were some times when it could be worth it. Relinquished has had a home in some modern re-examinations of old formats, specifically in Chaos decks. For those, you need to be playing Light and Dark monsters, but Light monsters at the time largely aren't very good. One of the better options was Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands, the primary searcher for Ritual cards, so you could play Relinquished, both as its own boss monster, but also as a way of setting up the stronger Chaos monsters.

The thing about good fanfiction is (1) it usually is able to get away with assuming you have some amount of knowledge about the characters/world going in so they don't need to do exposition as much and (2) a lot of the best ones explore new aspects of the existing world/characters in interesting ways that aren't explored in canon.

Aka not something you can just file the serial numbers off of to turn into an original story without making major concessions or coming out with a mediocre product.
