there is a broader strategy behind it as well imo - the Tim Stanley stuff doesn't appear out of nowhere. Nor the JRM stuff. Or the pitch to higher earning couples on childcare or the Inheritance Tax stuff. Tories have finally realised that out Reforming Reform ain't a sensible strategy.

Yes but my point I suppose is you can't underestimate the importance of the leader of the main party of the right saying this from a conference platform. Saying "actually that isn't an acceptable view" stops the steady creep of people believing that it is. I think that matters.

also IMO her examples aren't really wrong. Yes some people questioned whether those players were English but there was a pretty strong consensus at time that the people who did so were racists. The point isn't there wasn't racism (there def was). It's more society didn't say "and that's acceptable"

Value is all about how much you use it so for you it's value. Eg sky sports is expensive but great value to me cos watch loads of stuff. Also sky Atlantic/ hbo I def watch way more than netflix

It's partly cos the tech was developed in places like Norway and then whole production system moved wholesale. Also Atlantic salmon can survive spawning and potentially spawn more than once. Pacific can't. Makes them much harder to farm.
