succubus langa part 2: Langa likes to be close #sk8theinfinity #renga

greyscale comic art by heirophantomthief combining characters from sk8 the infinity with the succubus story from my dress up darling. The first illustration shows Reki with a video game controller, succubus langa is hugging him from behind and looking over his shoulder with hearts in his eyes. An icon of Miya speaks via text message bubble: "can you turn off the camera if he's gonna be like that." Reki replies "what's wrong :( he's not doing anything." Miya, looking disgusted: "it's not so much what he does..."
The second illustration shows Reki sitting on the couch with a slightly smug smile. Succubus Langa is draped over his lap, with his butt right under Reki's hands with the game controller. His wings are folded under Reki's elbow and his tail loops up to touch Reki's face. Langa has a sleepy, happy look on his face. At the bottom, Miya frowns with his hoodie scrunched over his face: "plz make him wear pants."

This one might be a debatable response depending on who you ask. I know Kyo Sohma is viewed as the monster more than any other family member in Fruits Basket, but I'll answer with Yuki Sohma because i was TOTALLY smitten with him when I was younger. 🩶🐀

An art piece meant to look like a screenshot of the streaming site twitch. The stream is Reki's or "ExploReki" channel with Reki clinging to Langa on screen. They both look scared of whatever is behind the camera. The chat on the right hand side is freaking out.

80s fantasy AU #fanart time! Starcrossed lovers, shapeshifting, Sun/Moon symbolism, lovely Italian/French medieval vibes&locations, happy ending by the power of Love&Friendship! Ladyhawke #tadaai #zine piece for the #sk8soulmatezine @sk8parkdiscord.bsky.social #sk8theinfinity #SK8エスケーエイト #sk8fanart

Ainosuke and Tadashi from Sk8 The Infinity as the Ladyhawke fantasy movie couple, the somber stoic and black-clad knight devoted to his much lusted-after aristocratic lover circa 1300. Cursed by a jealous rejected suitor of Ainosuke to turn into a hawk by day and wolf by night respectively, they eventually manage to break the curse, with a little help of two friends and of an eclipse loophole enabling them to confront their curse caster!
Reki as one of said helpers ( a plucky youth of many talents ) and witness is painting a fresco summary of their tale, culminating in their happy reunion in their restored human form during a solar eclipse in a Romanesque church. The starry sky blending into daylight blue and the partially overlapping Sun and Moon framing their heads in the fresco hint both at the fateful solar eclipse, at the 8 symbol and at the church rose windows... and at their *LOVE* lift hug final scene in the movie.
Colour palette of jewel toned blues, reds, greens and metallics inspired by medieval illuminated manuscripts <3

Closeup of the previous image showing the central TadaAi happy ending. Implied lift hug by Tadashi. They're hopefully looking happy, tender, relieved and also a bit dopey and adoring <3
