"Later" in life really doesn't matter.. Leap (and hopefully) Land Shooting Stars is a romance novel featuring two adult characters, Wes and Evan, who meet and connect through the wonderful world of video games. It's cute, geeky, and queer☆ hosted on ao3: archiveofourown.org/works/79134186

Graphic for Shooting Stars cover. The background is a cool azure blue. Darker blue borders the main idea. A graphic of curved, dotted lines represent shooting stars with the shape included. Two hearts are connected by a wiggly line. The title Shooting Stars is in script text and underlined by more stars. "Queer romance male/transmale" is written in light blue font and underlined.

Shooting Stars by Mx. Misfits summary page. Background matches the cover imagine in an azure blue. The title is underlined by shooting star-like lines. "Leap (and hopefully) Land" is written above a square of white, bordered by dark blue, holding the summary text that reads as follows: "Later" in life doesn't really matter.. Leap (and hopefully) land.

The Wayfarer Project stands out for its hopeful take on sci-fi survival and being so promising in early access. One of the game's many fans is Evan Morris, who has a deep appreciation for its core message and a massive crush on the creator and lead developer, Wesley Iddeson. When the studio behind The Wayfarer Project attends its first overseas gaming convention, Evan seizes an opportunity to work alongside the people behind his favorite game as an event-provided personal assistant. He wished on a star for this moment, but it goes nothing like he'd expected. Not only is Wes interested in Evan from the get-go, but he also recognizes him as a frequent chatter and fan artist. The team at Lucid Inc. immediately treat Evan as one of their own, and the special attention feels out of this world. Especially since he's not very confident about passing as a man.

I have only one knight to share but an immense amount of excitement for this project! 👀 This is Chione, the Stellarion, and a snippet from my book Illusory in which they are swayed.

Digital painting of a knight (Chione, They/Them) with cascading white hair, pale white skin and icy blue eyes. They are holding a sword made of stained glass, dividing their soft face in half. The armor they wear is silver and covered by a blood red surcoat with a gold star emblem. Across their right shoulder is a cloak. The background is painted to have two stained glass windows. One has a warm palette of oranges, reds and yellows. The other is cool and dark, purples and blues.

Snippet of the novel Illusory by MxMisfits(creator of the post) The background is a dark and dulled purple, the novel-like layout text is off white and bordered by two gray lines. In gold, in the bottom left "Illusory Snippet" is written. The excerpt text reads as follows:

“We must go.” Cante pleaded to soft eyes, to the delicate parts all people had. This Stellarion had shown there was a heart behind their marble. The hesitation Cante was seeking was caused by his compassion mirrored in their eyes. “You may wish for my death but you've given me no reason to cheer for yours.”

“I've stolen you and threatened your life, are you mad?” They asked in genuine, righteous disbelief.

“No, I just believe you must be mistaken.”

“I'm not. You are the missing prince.”

The Stellarion didn't even need to touch Cante to completely upheave his world with a certain statement. “I’m what?”
