DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 06/10/2026There also seems to be a planning mode, but it's not doing well with specific questions. 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It sure seems like they were paving the way, but the problem is it will make changes unless I explicitly tell it not to. I was revisiting and debugging an old project. The agent went astray with local changes when it was just a problem with credentials for a managed identity in Azure. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 06/10/2026The AI frontier labs are forcing our hands like no one's business, and I believe they are the real risk. We used to have 'Ask' and 'Agent' modes in GitHub copilot. They quietly made Agent the default option, and now they entirely did away with Ask mode. I can't be the only one bothered by this. 110
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Using Google AI Studio and the model is making too many decisions on its own. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 28/09/2026AI user interfaces can use some improvements. I hate that you can't navigate to prior prompts within a chat. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 28/09/2026So Google is renaming 'Gems' to 'Skills'. Hard to keep up with the AI evolution, but the bottom line is we should assign our AI chatbots a persona before or when we prompt. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 07/09/2026There is a lot of topic bleeding in my AI chats. Wondering if I should start opening notebooks for everything. 001
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 06/09/2026We overstate #AI productivity gains. Agents will uncover many bullshit jobs and humans will continue to do the minimum to get by. AI tools will make productive people more productive and lazy people more lazy. 130
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I've written wonderful emails before AI ever came along. AI will now take the credit for this and much more. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Good point. We lack in health care overall. There should be no barriers to equitable and quality healthcare. Perhaps the focus should be on the use of AI in these broader societal issues. There needs to be conversation on this, around the industrial food complex and food deserts across the country. 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 27/06/2026When you say "behave and perform" like a city, I am mostly concerned about preserving the small town essence.. less hustle, more peace and sense of community. 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 27/06/2026I think in today's age, small towns can have most of the services available in large cities. You're right, I think AI can bridge the gap further. Interestingly, people continue to gravitate towards high-density areas... 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 26/06/2026And there's supposed to be time for side hustles, gym, and continuing education 🤷🏻♂️ 010
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 25/06/2026Did you know it only takes a few thousand votes to elect someone into Congress? Turnout in primaries is so low. Then we all head to the general election and act like we have a choice. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 20/06/2026It's much easier to lay someone off "because of AI" than it is to replace them with AI. 010

DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 13/06/2026Me refiero a escribir o generar contenido. Para programar la IA sigue siendo un mero asistente 😀 100

DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 05/06/2026The problem is not that AI is replacing humans. The problem is that we have started to become less human long before AI arrived. Productivity hacks, tracking devices, agendas.. we forget to just be ourselves. 142
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 03/06/2026That reminds me.. list view and linear view show different things too. I'll be pinning the items that I keep going back to. I did, however, set up a neat data refresh without an on-prem dependency. My only concern is if Gen1 gets deprecated, there won't be an alternative to Fabric capacity. 000
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 03/06/2026The constant UI changes have me digging around. For example, when you open workspace and click New Item. The first and most intuitive step should be to get data. The Dataflow Gen1 is buried all the way down somewhere. Power BI Desktop does this better. 100

DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 03/06/2026The navigation is forcing me into a Fabric capacity trial by making the Dataflow Gen1 difficult to find. If this Dataflow is going to be deprecated, what option will be left for Power BI users outside of Fabric? 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 02/06/2026The whole Power BI - Fabric platform is confusing as hell and constantly changing. 100

DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 01/06/2026We need to establish priorities even if it means limiting new construction. We should ask ourselves what is the opportunity cost and should we first invest in and develop sustainable technology? 010
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 01/06/2026As I understand it, it's part of the treatment process to cool down data centers. I agree that a lack of regulation is at the center of it. Since regulators always play catch-up we should limit new construction, especially since they are going up in the most vulnerable places. Like Arizona. 100
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 01/06/2026It's not just about dirty water but the enormous water consumption, where the leftover is discharged into municipal sewage systems and overwhelming local treatment not designed to handle such concentrated chemicals. But perhaps AI will explain how we can live without water. 310
DevMe @chartme.bsky.social · 30/05/2026yes, data centers by design make water dirty around them, and yes, we need more and better enforced environmental regulations like in normal countries. 121
