www.bfxr.net BFXR major update. I need to spend a *lot* more time with the presets of the instruments, but I was so immediately sold by the Mixfxr tool (that just overlaps two existing synths) that I had to put it live RIGHT AWAY. Try it out!

I've put a beta up on steam for the 2026 update to Bullet Candy (currently Windows and Linux/SteamOS only, mac tomorrow). If you want to give it a try you can select the beta branch from the game's properties in your library.

Spent the day fighting XCode. I don't recommend! That said Son of Scoregasm is now notarized by apple so it'll be easier to run if you got it from @itch.io It's also in review for the Mac App Store, so we'll see what happens there. Who knows???

Our stance on all AI generated content (Images, Video, Voiceovers, and whatever else LLM based AI gets up to in the future):

At best, they are approximations of street fighter characters as the AI has no clue what it is trying to create. Because of this, there is no street fighter content so they are not allowed. (rule 1)

Also, they aren't allowed per our source rule. As AI sources cannot be tracked, we must assume that they use uncredited sources in the learning data. (rule 5)

Finally, AI images, video, text, and voiceovers are barely any different than posting a screenshot of a google search. The level of effort is so low that we consider it spam (rule 3).

Because of these reasons, AI art and other AI content is not allowed.
