Feb 14th 2016 - Despite Elaine's prediction on Peter Venkman's show "The World of the Psychic", about the world ending after her alleged encounter with an alien at the Paramus Holiday Inn, life continued as usual. 📽️📅 Ghostbusters II (1989)
4 Screenshots from the movie "Ghostbusters II" (1989): First, a woman in a floral blouse speaks with a serious expression, saying, "According to my source...". Second, she continues, "...the end of the world will be on February 14th in the year 2016," while maintaining eye contact. Third, a man in a patterned blazer reacts with a neutral face, stating, "Valentine's Day." Fourth, the man maintains his expression and adds, "Bummer." The background features colorful balloons and a partially visible television screen.

NY is even projected to lose 3 congressional seats in 2030 due to population decline. This weakens our voice in national politics, and makes it harder for Democrats to win national elections. Albany has the power to stem this loss—if it chooses to act.

Amidst the chaos and the law-breaking the most important thing to remember/focus on is that they are doing these things illegally because they know they don't have the votes to do it by passing laws, even in a GOP controlled Congress.

The shortest summary of what we’re witnessing is that the right lost a decades-long ideological battle over the proper size of government, and then, instead of moving on, decided to impose their will criminally.

You say: they shutdown USAID. You mean: they illegally broke in to a secure facility over a weekend, hijacked sensitive data on vulnerable people and US businesses, destroyed property Americans paid for, cut off resources for sick and hungry families, and fired Americans across the country.
