hiiiii everybodyyyy I have no idea what’s going on over yonder, but on other apps everyone is in a “discoursing about Steve Rogers” kind of mood, so the urge to make that spite video returned to me. plus I was enabled by several people telling me to do it and I needed a distraction from IRL bullshit

Birthday gift for a friend who is currently obsessed with this throuple from #DoctorOdyssey #ODY3 ⚓️😎

Okay so fair warning I whole ass don’t go here so. Three characters, Alex, Avery and Tristan from Doctor Odyssey. All of them are leaning on each other in various ways from the waist up. All three are wearing sunglasses. They appear to be wearing navel uniforms. I think they’re doctors? Idk all I know is they’re on a boat and do medical things.

HI BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY PEOPLE something I’ve yet to force upon you all is my current love for Doctor Odyssey, a very silly & fun show that’s doing canonical poly slow burn on network TV. YOU SHOULD WATCH IT my beloved friend drew this as a surprise for me & I love it SO much I can’t get over it 😭💕

okay the tweet spam is done, I’m sorry for all of that I gotta maybe backpost some of my older severance thoughts from prior weeks too later I guess... I don’t know man, I’m winging it (<- butterfly pun?)

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . . Dylan’s wife says “I love you” to his innie & she says it was habit but she doesn’t say it to his outie when she’s leaving... Very heartbreaking how innie Dylan wants to be involved with his family but outie Dylan seems pretty disengaged 😩 The LAYERS

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . I’m just throwing some thoughts out here but A) did Cobel realize Helena meant something sinister with the word “reset” and B) uhhhhh if so, what does that potentially imply for what Lumon can do to its employees??

060

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . Now that Mark’s reintegrated & on an even stronger mission to save Gemma... Are we all ready to start having the fucked up convo about how being severed has been — so far — a voluntary procedure, so it’s not impossible Gemma somehow chose it too? Or nah

230

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . . Reghabi brought up Gemma to Mark VERY quickly knowing he’d ask for reintegration… She leapt on the opportunity… Lowkey she has her own agenda & she may not be on Lumon’s side but she’s not above the manipulating love technique. Much to think about

1120

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . . Mark and Reghabi are in an IDGAF energy contest Who won? Me, that’s who. They’re insane I fucking love them lmaaaaooo

120

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . “What is something for which you feel shame?” SHAME. Self-consciousness, powerlessness, humiliation, guilt — gets you closer to alignment with your buried innie. Poetic. & OF COURSE, Mark associates shame with grief he blames himself for 😭 Man…

130

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . Natalie being the LITERAL mouthpiece of Lumon, tasked with crafting propaganda… Natalie, looking at Milchick & being unable to speak her mind as a POC bc all she can say are words on Lumon’s behalf or words she knows they’ll hear… The inherent silence. Holy fuck.

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance If anything bad ever happens to Devon, I will do unspeakable things that will put me on the international news.

030

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance So sinister how Lumon uses info about outies as rewards/perks for the innies — wellness, & now everything with Dylan — partially bc if the innies are focused on who they are “up there,” they’re less focused on forming THEIR autonomy & identities, & won’t rebel

140

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance Us: we would like answers about the goats please :) This show: best we can do is give you more questions obsessed

091

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

#Severance spoilers . . . . . Irving drawing Burt is something I’ve been hoping & dreaming we’d get, & I CANNOT. FUCKING. BELIEVE. that not only did we get it already but we also got a whole book filled of him with the most romantic explanation possible. LOVE IS REEEAALLL

Char @charcubed.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Forgive me but in an effort to start learning to crosspost I’m logging on to copy & paste everything I just put on the bird app about the new severance ep & then logging off to go sleep I recognize this isn’t ideal because you’re all like “what fucking show is this Char” but I gotta start somewhere

The way I actually coped today was by starting to put a bit of legitimate research / thought into this, btw.

Screenshots from a tweet of mine from 10/11/24

It says “I’ve been saying this for literal years at this point but I really want to eventually create a sticker club where there’s a new sticker every month, and the proceeds for each sticker get donated to a different nonprofit, and each design is related to what cause we’re helping”

HAPPY (?) 4 YEARS SINCE THE #SUPERNATURAL FINALE Did you think it was tragic? Did you think it kinda sucked? Did you not even watch it or aren’t in the #SPN fandom but you wonder why it was so bad? COOL I have plausible answers for you! Enjoy this free essay 🫡 archiveofourown.org/series/3135096

Cover image in the style of a book cover. The title is CHUCK WON: An Analysis & Explanation of Supernatural’s Tragic Finale by Char Q. The art is in an illustration style with layered design elements and a sepia monochromatic color scheme. At the bottom, Cas is standing in a black void to represent the Empty which is dripping along the bottom edge of the page. In the center, silhouettes of Sam and Dean and the Impala are on a bridge like in the finale. Behind them are mountains and trees to complete the scene. In the sky area, there is a large illustration of Jack looking up and he seems upset. Even larger and behind Jack is a faint silhouette of Chuck, hovering behind everyone and everything.

"You always knew it was gonna end like this for me. It was supposed to end like this, right?"
Those are the words Dean Winchester says to his brother Sam in the Supernatural finale, as he slowly dies because of a routine monster hunt that turned into an accidental impalement. In a story where the main characters' prime motivation became fighting for true freedom through free will-a story in which the villain constantly manipulated their narrative and told them what was "supposed to" happen, and they defied it at every turn-this is the ultimate in-narrative warning.
If the brothers were truly "finally free," as they say in the penultimate episode, then their fates shouldn't have been compelled by a "supposed to." Something went wrong, and Chuck wasn't actually defeated. The Supernatural finale is the work of a
"cruel, cruel, capricious God".
... and you're meant
to notice.
But don't take my word for it; pay attention.
Because the show told us what happened in-narrative and out-of-narrative, as loudly as it possibly could.

still hoping that twitter can be salvaged but one of the actually funny implications/potentials of people having to migrate to a different app (like here) is your block list is zeroed out lawless land… fuckery begins anew… you may be placed in front of truly dedicated haters you’ve forgotten about
