This looks like you're using a combination of the weapon swap mod plus video edits. This is just really disingenuous. The cut at 45 seconds is especially jarring since it hard cuts from a attack on the street to being on the roof.

I really enjoy this movie. Felt like such a breath of fresh air with the bad studio mandated slasher of the era, and has great casting. The late great Robert Englund doing his best Dr Loomis impression is fantastic.

Robocop Rogue City and Terminator Resistance are both surprisingly good. I ended up being really disappointed with the Unfinished Business expansion for Rogue City. Any story that pulls an Alien 3 and starts by saying "everyone you cared about in the last story died" is already messing things up

It's hard to get excited for GTA VI when it looks like another GTA V, while actually cool and new stuff is coming out like Routine, Skate Story, and Mina the Hollower. Even AAA has more exciting stuff like Pragmata or Star Wars Galactic Racer. GTA controls are also just bad

Hearing all this is crazy, but I believe it. Stuff like this makes me more appreciative of the new Doom trilogy actually nailing the difficulty they wanted, especially Nightmare on Doom Eternal. Doom 2016 has some goofy issues like Imps becoming the scariest enemies with their near hitscan fireball.

Slightly misremembering what happened there. He did force Chico to participate in the SA of Paz in GZ, but Chico died in a hospital from the helicopter crash.

Hopefully it's comforting to know that most of the intro can be beaten by moving forward slowly. The part that always catches me is the helicopter spotlights. If you wait till Ishmael calls you over you'll be safe, and at the end just keep running for the door like a madperson.

I just finished 100%-ing MGSV and I loved it. Skullface isn't quite as cool to me just because he never gets a boss fight. It's a rule that all cool villains must be boss fights in Metal Gear, but Skullface doesn't get one sadly.

Oh yeah this isn't meant as a negative for the game at all, more just the frustration over something as iconic as Silent Hill 2 not being readily available. I love playing the Enhanced Edition, but it's insane you can't actually buy the game officially.

Good thread from Ryn for a more reasonable take on what's happening for 2XKO. I've never met Pat, but I really think his patreon post was a mistake. It fails to comfort the 2XKO fans, while also becoming a lightning rod for people's frustrations. Hope we get a clearer picture one day.

Tokon's such a weird game for me. I'm further on Woolie's side of really wanting to like the game, but it just feels weird and restrictive in odd ways. That being said though the game is far from sauceless and has a very strong, clear design direction even if I don't personally like it.

I was ready to like the "go big or go home" energy, except it sounds like Patrick's plan was always "go big AND go home". Caring more about the game being saucy than a success is insane when you're making that bet with nearly 200 people's careers and the next 10 years of their life on the line.
