This month has been the best book sales month Matt has ever had. If he were still here, I know he'd be over the moon. I'm crying tears of joy for him. Thank you all for the support and I hope you enjoy the stories. #mgmasonrocked

Matt wasn't well enough to promote the release day of his new short story ebook All Quiet On The Terraces. It's a spooky tale but the kind that tugs on your heartstrings; especially apt since he passed away. You can get the kindle edition here: amzn.eu/d/ewl1JWr

#MGMasonRocked and I dedicated his last days to making sure he knew how loved and appreciated he was, including by you lovely Bluesties. If you'd like a soundtrack to remember him:

Not an ideal way to do it, but

Ahead of The Residents of James Hotel going wide in a couple of weeks, I have updated the file on Amazon, and on D2D to include the short story "Henrietta's Story" on the end. If you bought the version without, don't worry, you're not missing out. It's still on the blog and will remain there too

Thank you Stephanie. I'm mad this has happened to me so young (I'm 50). Still processing a lot, but accepting I have to make the best of whatever time I have left

I used to dislike "O Little Town of Bethlehem", and especially singing it as a kid in assembly. Who made me end up loving it? Well, it was always going to be Annie Lennox' infinitely powerful voice. Please... even if you once hated it, give it a listen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=etNO...

I'm loving how much readers are loving this. Felt it might have too narrow an appeal, but seemingly not the case!

Whoever pushed me to 200 book sales last night (I assume it was one of you lovely #HorrorWritersChat gang) thank you for stepping up for me in my darkest hours. Even though I beat last year's tally in June, this new figure means so much.

Family not understanding how important writing has always been to me does not surprise. "You don't have time to update everyone individually, but you find the time to post longer stuff on Facebook" Yes, because I can ignore replies to a post. People don't get upset if I don't reply immediately.

Right? Alt med is a scam and I won't take any "yeah but" from anyone. Instablock. Regular tested medicine isn't perfect, but it improves all the time.

In nicer stuff, the proofreader has already completed edits on All Quiet on the Terraces. I cannot express how grateful I am that this person has given me so much support and leeway over the last couple of years to get my work out there.
