If you actually read the article, the author is referring to the Metacritic score as an indicator of what games are nominated/win GOTY (which historically is a good indicator). So far this year the number of games with a 90+ Metacritic score is very low when compared to recent years.

I did, and all those reasons are still tied back Gen AI & its costs, costs more & more people are unwilling to pay because the benefits for them are not there. I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove. A lot of people simply are not willing to sacrifice their enviroment & community for the tech.

I point to the 1st question, “Overall, would you strongly favor, somewhat favor, somewhat oppose or strongly oppose the construction of a data center in your area to support artificial intelligence, or AI, technology in the U.S.?” which clearly says data centers are for AI and 70% oppose them.

That is inaccurate. Most people are against data centers because they are against the current thrust of Gen AI in every day life. That graphic supports that idea. It shows the tech companies most strongly associated with AI are also the ones that a majority of Americans dislike.
