I adore Maki’s character design too, I feel like we don’t get to see many badass women covered in scars very often. Also something I really enjoyed about the action was the brutality, I like when all different parts (feet, hands, top of head) get cut off during sword fights.

Naoya really lost every fight he had lmao, generational loser. The animation, the music, the direction, the themes with maki, Mai and the zen’in clan were all exceptional. Gosso is a genius when it comes to movement and incorporating a free, jazzy soundtrack.

That episode of JJK was stellar, one of if not the best in the show for me. Holy crap Maki is fucking cool, I like that it seems the show isn’t condemning her for the massacre either. Those fuckers got what they deserved.
