Australian woman loves horses, dogs, cats & birds but not that fond of humans especially politicians. This planet belongs to every living thing & we must learn to share it & not pretend we 'own' any part of it - that is just an illusion that causes wars.

Like so many in Australia's media class, Karvelas extols "the sensible centre". A mindless cliche that only protects powerful interests and the neoliberal nightmare, fails to fix rising #inequality, #poverty and the #ClimateCrisis, and fuels One Nation and #FarRight. aka toxic centrism. #auspol

WTF is the sensible centre? ALP & LNP are Neolibs (governing for the wealthy)! For any party to get to the centre they'd have to go HARD LEFT (socialism) to actually benefit even the average working person, pensioners, NDIS, homeless, low-wage earners & make Aust an equitable nation again.

Refused bail? Don't tell me a magistrate considered an 18 year old was responsible for his actions? I guess he didn't have a good enough lawyer to argue the poor kid had a bad upbringing and his parents are at fault - for I dunno - HARSHLY trying to control his irresponsible behaviour.
