I guess on the plus side it also means @discord.com can't hit you with their shiny new gambling ads that undoubtedly had nothing to do with their push for age verification 🙃

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

If you have access to a gym, lateral pulldowns are a great way to build up strength for pull-ups. And make sure you're engaging your back muscles for both, not just relying on arm strength! Pull-ups and pulldowns should employ your arms, shoulders, and upper back all at once!

HONESTLY I'm curious if you'd enjoy it 🤔 I say do it if you wanna.

Oh yeah I've had DMs that introduced AMAZING homebrew elements to their games! But you're absolutely right that you need to know the fundamentals before you can tweak them. There's a weird stigma against playing modules, I feel, but they're a great way to learn DMing fundamentals.

Chaerod @chaerod.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I had a DM for a D&D 5.5E game who loved to homebrew, but he didn't even know the basic rules of 5E very well. It turns out he was just asking ChatGPT if the things he came up with were good/balanced, and naturally it just yes manned him. Loved the whole group but man that campaign was a mess.

Listen, I can explain. ... I didn't want to paint motley. Assembly alone took 4 hours and I have NONE of the paints I need for the two-headed chicken mcnugget. I regret absolutely nothing. #Warhammer40k #Minipainting #Tzeentch #KairosFateweaver

Angel illustration I got to do for @thedungeonarchive.bsky.social ! I love rendering golds and this one was SO much fun to do as a result! We also did an animated token (and the pertinent battlemap for it)! #angel #creaturedesign #art #ttrpg #monster

A digital illustration featuring a biblically accurate angel in a painted style. It is a floating orb with an ornate eye, with two halos with eyes around it, and four golden wings. It is floating in the sky.

I figured out a way to make his eyes look like they glow instead of fighting with directly painting pupils, I'd say it worked well!

A closer view of the Grand Master Voldus mini, which has more detail added along with glowing blue eyes

I'm having a much easier time painting minis, I should share! Not quite done, I still need to do highlights and make another touch-up pass before I add some details. I really did not pick an easy first mini 😂 so many PURITY SEALS. #Warhammer40k #minipainting #GreyKnights

My brain is being a bit ornery about fully realized art pieces, so I started working out Markus's implant ports and tattoos. I considered doing a bunch of scarification of scripture and holy symbols, but then realized... I don't wanna draw all'a that lmao. #Warhammer40k #psyker #Darktide

Quick note card sketches of the implant ports on my psyker's head, neck, and back.

If nothing else, it would be worth seeing the Veteran's traction of shock, followed by horror, followed by curiosity... And then a quick heel-turn to go find some rotgut from one of the hive scum 🤣 Meanwhile my lil forge world bean would be asking questions a mile a minute lmao.

My friend once joked that his veteran dragged my psyker to card night on the Mourningstar, saying, "Read their hands, the Skitarii said she'd let me see under her robes if we clear the pot." Jump cut to this, both are BOGGLING. Absolutely excellent artwork and a fantastic character, 10/10.

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

I think we should embrace being bad at things, but having the courage to try anyway. That's how people learn and grow. It's a damn sight better than the cowardice of giving up and having a crappy robot live our lives for us.

As I understand it, someone gave one of the devs their Wranduin sticker that says, "Let them reunite!" And the dev had a bit of a poor reaction. They thought he pawned the sticker off onto someone else, but he was actually giving them a pin. Homophobia accusations flew.

Segen (big old zealot) holding a scripture, evidently intending to have Mikael (small psyker) read it with him but Mikael dgaf and just wants to pay attention to the big fella :} Segen is in grey armour with plating & purity seals. Mikael is in green psykana attire. They both have a blind eye on the opposite side to one another.
